I have all these you used and tried the rest of them. NONE of them are free of aliasing, which is especially bad in drums specifically cymbal crashes and bass guitar. They all still leave A LOT to be desired. I firmly disagree with you that any of this is truly usable. Do a track like Pat Travers live record with Tommy Aldrich on drums. Or any hard hitting drummer. This tech has not arrived for professional use. Not even for added tracks in a live show. Sorry about the negative sound of my reply, but I sugarcoat nothing when it comes to audio.

You’re welcome to your opinion, thanks for sharing it. Fact is these things are being used all the time for professional uses already. They just haven’t reached YOUR personal goals. Yet.

@@Unders I certainly don't know how from my experience. I've never heard a thing from natural instruments I'd put on a recording or use live. My ear don't have enough forgiveness to accept, 'it'll be ok in a mix'. And I have messed with all these software products til I'm blue. Please do me a favor and show me what you can do with something off the aforementioned PT 'Go For What You Know' record. I'm hoping you can show me something better than I've accomplished. Thanks much for your time and doing these reviews!

Why not make it your website, Just a link tree. You can put up a formal website once you start making money. People just want to hear and see your music. They do not care about your Bio or merch unless they really dig your song/s. Tell me why I am wrong...

Great question. At night I type note names in semiquavers and non note characters for accidentals and sustain. I'll describe in detail and sometimes a language of personal symbols, scenarios, memories and genres to describe timbre, feel or texture often using gobbledygook. An audio dictation including a count in to get a time reference - I'll sometimes go to the loo for that. Expanding the idea and not giving up is the real work. Most of my ideas on recall seem shit
@Unders2 күн бұрын
Maybe the idea on recall just being shit actually my real issue 😂😂😂 Awesome insights and a valuable use of knowing music dictation

Definate phase issue with imager And possibly aliasing I’d never use spreader in a master
@Unders5 күн бұрын
Are you so immature and IK multimedia ONE, both very good if you need to add a little bit at the Mastering stage and do a very good job at avoiding phasing. You can test this with a sum to mono in utility afterwards but for sure if the track doesn’t benefit from it, don’t do it.

For regular ideas, not music, I do something like 5 jumping jacks, while saying the idea aloud, it sticks in my brain better. Another one I've done is, staring at a leaf or something small while thinking about it, and bringing the leaf home. You gotta make pathways in the brain that associate with the idea

Hey man, thank you so much for the video number one my first time coming here. I really appreciate you doing that and I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind answering a question for me I’m a drummer and I’ve been recording with one mic and two obviously running with the bass guitar player I’m out of channels. I have the Apollo twin also I don’t think I need outputs as much as I need inputs. I’m just trying to record more microphones simply. Thank you very much. If you have a chance to answer that, I would appreciate your brother to run kick two overheads a base and guitar input. I’m simply trying to record with more microphones. That is all will my Apollo twin and additional eight input like this Behringer you’re using work for me to add more above the kit.? thank you so much
@Unders6 күн бұрын
That would do it. Just note with this unit phantom power is either on or off. So not ideal for mixed mic set ups. But that’s what it is for the price point. There’s the Focusrite for more complex routing and options but at 3-4x the price. Still cheaper than getting a new I/O though.
@craigsweeden13765 күн бұрын
@@Unders Thanks brother! Meaning either condenser or dynamic mics but not mixed correct? Thanks for your time bro! Take care man!!
@Unders5 күн бұрын
@@craigsweeden1376 I would stick to one or the other yes. Theres people out there who say its fine to run say your sm57 and your 414 with phantom power going to both. I was taught differently and shown specifically how this can have detrimental effects to some mics. An as i mainly use line input synths myself anyways ive never looked at each an every combo to see what's viable.
