Did AA get smart and reconfigure their 738s again? I thought they were configured to 172pax at one point
@nixaviation
@nixaviation 18 күн бұрын
I thought so too. The Oasis cabin product introduced the tight 172 seat cabin. According to the seat map I used for reference though, this specific plane had 160 seats.
@nixaviation
@nixaviation 14 күн бұрын
Upon further research, I've found that I referenced an outdated seat map! This will be corrected in the next trip report. Thank you for pointing this out.

I have a question............i have noticed about 4-5 different utube guys, including yours...where 80-90 percent of the video is just showing the wing or engine of the plane...15-20 minute video of just that......what is the purpose of that?? i guess i am not a flying geek that just likes the outside pic....your video of Denver Air was great...showed plane,wing, and inside..seat, food. etc...what am i missing??? just subbed to your channel....thanks

I was a pilot for the former, former EAS carrier there, Air Choice One! MKL was my favorite overnight because of the BBQ! I really enjoyed flyiong the C-208 Caravan in there, although im sure the passenghers are much happier to be in a jet. I can't blame them. When I was with ACO in 2018, MKL had no TSA security, so we had to park at signature FBO in ATL, and a special security arrival when in STL
@nixaviation
@nixaviation 27 күн бұрын
@@andyrodriguez2893 Awesome to hear a story from a previous pilot of ACO! Everyone was overjoyed to be flying on a jet, that’s for sure. What was the special security situation like at STL?
@andyrodriguez2893
@andyrodriguez2893 21 күн бұрын
@@nixaviation When we would land at STL, a special van would come and get the passengers. Since they hadn’t been screened, they had to immediately get in the van and get driven around to the front of the terminal in order to go in and check in just like a normal passenger would. If they were done in STL, it was pretty convenient, otherwise it was a big headache for connecting passengers. I believe it was JBR and MKL that were our only 2 without TSA screening
@nixaviation
@nixaviation 21 күн бұрын
@@andyrodriguez2893 Very interesting. I can see how that would be inconvenient yeah. I’m assuming you guys had KCM so the crews didn’t have to get re-screened?
@andyrodriguez2893
@andyrodriguez2893 21 күн бұрын
Yes, us crew had KCM. However we didn’t go through the re-screening process, we could just exit the plane interestingly enough
