After 13 days, I’ve noticed a major typo. We flew to Atlanta, not Chicago. 😂 2:01

Great trip report. I wish there had been more passengers on this inaugural flight. Looked like there was more celebration on the inbound flight

@@TripReportaviation Considering the nature of this flight, I was impressed with the amount of people that were onboard. It is very unusual that any essential air service flight fills up the plane.

I was a pilot for the former, former EAS carrier there, Air Choice One! MKL was my favorite overnight because of the BBQ! I really enjoyed flyiong the C-208 Caravan in there, although im sure the passenghers are much happier to be in a jet. I can't blame them. When I was with ACO in 2018, MKL had no TSA security, so we had to park at signature FBO in ATL, and a special security arrival when in STL

@@andyrodriguez2893 Awesome to hear a story from a previous pilot of ACO! Everyone was overjoyed to be flying on a jet, that’s for sure. What was the special security situation like at STL?
@andyrodriguez2893Ай бұрын
@@nixaviation When we would land at STL, a special van would come and get the passengers. Since they hadn’t been screened, they had to immediately get in the van and get driven around to the front of the terminal in order to go in and check in just like a normal passenger would. If they were done in STL, it was pretty convenient, otherwise it was a big headache for connecting passengers. I believe it was JBR and MKL that were our only 2 without TSA screening

@@andyrodriguez2893 Very interesting. I can see how that would be inconvenient yeah. I’m assuming you guys had KCM so the crews didn’t have to get re-screened?
@andyrodriguez2893Ай бұрын
Yes, us crew had KCM. However we didn’t go through the re-screening process, we could just exit the plane interestingly enough

@@andyrodriguez2893 Interesting stuff. STL has always been an airport of interest for me, though I’ve never been. Are you still with the airline now?

when i flew the MKL-ORD leg last week the plane was like 70 percent full going to try the MKL-ATL leg next month this airline is the winner we have been needing for years at MKL even in the bad weather while delayed 5 hours they still got me back to jackson safe ( lol southern would have cancelled if a cloud farted)

@@elevatorcentral So glad to hear good things from people using this new service. This is a huge upgrade for MKL and has a lot of potential for the future. When Denver Air Connection first applied to serve MKL, they had only applied for flights to ATL. I think the addition of ORD was a good choice.

You are so right. That is a bad typo on my end. Good eye catching that. I love being near the engine like that. Glad you enjoyed the video!

That’s my hometown and I’m excited about it. How long did the flight take?

@@ChampagneSain I’m excited about it too! The flight was just under an hour.
