1\2 and 1\2? No. Make sure the wolf dog is at MAXIMUM 1\4 wolf. I have seen via 30 years of experience that 1\2 dog, 1\2 wolf hybrids are too unpredictable.

Owning a wolf dog isn’t like some fantasy scape where we are an elf hunter with our companion. Sure, they can become a companion of sorts, but they are still wild animals with instincts and needs that don’t always align with our own. I have had friends with that dreamy look in their eye of owning one of the these and I always warn them ‘Don’t. They are not dogs.’ I am a loner, very independent (which many people do not understand because we live in an extroverted world) and would love to own one, but I won’t unless I know I can safely and with respect to their needs.

I bought a wolf dog as a pup, everything she pointed out we have experienced. She is eight years old now. She is independent, she runs her own show. She is very loving, sweet but loves her alone time. She is very smart and understands and communicates very well with us. She has settled down with age, as a pup she was a challenge. We just love this girl.

PS: i believe you should create videos comparing breeds and meeting other owners, it would go well with the educative content on your channel. For instance comparing tamazkan, saarloos, English wolf dogs and all. Sooo many people buy wolf dogs and just let them ruin the house whilst they go to work everyday and only walk them for 30mn early in the morning because the dogs were not even socialised early or trained a minimum. Also, I believe it would be interesting to see training with wolf dogs involved, it is content no one ever sees for some reason. The only ones that we are able to see are the army training for certain breeds. Anyways, thanks again I hope I can come visit your place in the future.

My dad had a party Wolf Dog, He was a big Teddy Bear, but his wild side didn't like to jump into the back of a truck like his homies. If he killed a skunk or raccoon in the backyard in Winter, it was his kill and you couldn't go near it. But he was a Teddy Bear other than that 😂
