I didn’t have the pleasure of watching C1 live, I had no idea about anything D&D related, no idea about Twitch, but I have watched them since. DAMN THIS SHOW IS GOOD! DAMN THESE PEOPLE ARE TALENTED! Vex gonna go NO MERCY mode when she finds Ripley! That’s gonna be a good fight! I don’t think Percy is gone gone, he’s probably trapped in that damn gun with all the other souls. I don’t know if they need to destroy the gun, Orthax, or both. I would say both.

In the game this actually happened pretty similarly. Taliesin, Percy's player, was listening in on the resurrection ritual from off set and in a text chat with Matt. It wasn't a matter of just casting a spell and bringing Percy back to life, they had to convince his soul to return too. Appeals to his duty to Whitestone, to his friends, to his people, none of that would have worked. It was only Vex's declaration of love that actually reached Percy's soul and convinced him to return. Taliesin was fully prepared and willing to let Percy's story end with Ripley killing him, it was poetic as it was tragic. Vex basically had to convince *him* to let Percy come back to life.

You know… for a sword with a name like that, it was surprisingly fragile. I mean it’s called *”The Fabled Lance of Dragaon Slaying”* for crying out loud! You’d think it’d be a little more durable. Y’all think Gilmore had a fake or something? 💀💀
