People always want to tell collectors to give to museums??! If he wanted to give them to a museum, he would do so. I wouldn't do it because museums have enough. He doesn't have to donate his precious finds, they are his to enjoy.

Your pre Colombian pieces are amazing! I’m fascinated by this work but so much of this gold work was melted down and sent to Spain as doubloons! haha! so sadly it’s really hard to find. Your information is quite accurate and fascinating. We lived in Bolivia. Didn’t find any gold only silver but also stunning. Andean pieces are something I always look for but seldom find!
