Wondering why chocolate bars cause acne while apples don't? If apples have more sugar?
@banzaiz943Күн бұрын
Such bad advice!
@jennifercriswell1982 күн бұрын
You don't want to bother to explain the difference between fructose and refined sugars, corn syrup, sucrose or other sugars? An apple doesn't have refined, bleached white cane sugar in for one, or the corn syrup likely in most (though not all) chocolate bars. 😂
@rudegyalvanilla7112 күн бұрын
Yeah but does the apple have processed sugar like the chocolate bar?
@Noname-km3zx2 күн бұрын
You are the problem. Sugar is sugar processed or not. It is about what the sugar is combined with, a healthy apple with fiber and vitamin c or chocolate with no fiber and less nutrients. Fiber slowes down the sugar and thats better.
@jennifercriswell1982 күн бұрын
@Noname-km3zx Saying "yOu aRe ThE pRoBLeM" because someone dared to point out not all sugars act the same is really missing thier point, then you just backed up thier point with your second sentence after that by essentially saying "sugars act differently sometimes!!" Oh my gosh! You don't say! Imagine being this nasty over a comment under a video with five comments made by a guy who doesn't understand or point out neither the apple NOR the candy bar has refined white cane sugar in it. Talk about scare tactics.

Im not tryna contradict and im only here to clear up possible misconsceptions othera may have but this video kinda implies that you need to burn more calories through exercise than you take in. Exercise or any daily physical activities is only about 15-30% of the total calories you burn. 60-70% of the calories you burn are from your living and resting aka the Basal Metabolic Rate or BMR. You dont have to burn the same amount of calories as you take in with exercise as you only really need to be in a calorie deficit and your BMR does most of the work but to lose fat you still need to burn more calories than you burn IN TOTAL meaning you only have to burn ENOUGH CALORIES to stay in a calorie deficit and make your body burn the stored fat. Sorry if my english is bad, im not a native speaker. Anyways god bless 🙏🏻😁

Listening to the introduction about metabolism was painful. You guys mixed so many concepts. Glycolysis produces ATP, oxidative phosphorylation produces ATP. ATP is not an independent metabolic route, it’s a metabolite produced by the oxidation of of for example carbohydrates and lipids. Oxidative phosphorylation is when the metabolism continues in the mitochondria. You can further metabolize glucose (as pyruvate) in the mitochondria. Mitochondria can also use lipids as fuel for energy production in a process called fatty acid beta oxidation. Oxygen is required as the last acceptor of electrons in the electron transport chain, independently if you are using glucose or lipids. Please reach out if you want more details about the mistakes spoken. While the intention of the video is not to be a biochemistry class, the statements are confusing and wrong.

1500 calories is absolutely nothing ur body needs more than that to function even with Zero physical activity. If u jus sat on ur bed and did not move a muscle for a whole day u would still need more than 1500 calories. The average 80kg male with minimal activity will need at least 2500 calories in a day to stay at maintenance.

@aephos.overwatch4 ай бұрын
Who's eating one meal a day? You don't have to eat meat with every meal, and there is such a thing as consuming too much protein. There is a good amount of protein on that plate already. I usually wouldn't eat just that plate, I would have more food with it, probably chicken breasts.
