I remember driving with quite a few of these lot when I was younger, I used to help out there when I was younger. I helped out there back in 1994.

I used to drive with Jonny. He also took me and my partner on our first drive together. He was a lovely guy.

Wonderful evocative 30-odd minutes. I'm sure I can see Ian Lochhead in there as well. Not sure how he is doing in Malta.

Thank you for posting this , just played it to Alec Jolly ( who went on this drive with Kenny ) and he loved it ! Is there anyway I could buy a DVD of this ?

Poor old Alec has gone now and Kenny is in a home. Both rum ole boys.

I remember Tony Harvey doing this trip. It took them a few weeks to get the horses fit and they didn't go until they were. Tony always said that Norwich and back was usual for dealers and traders at that time of day, and he wanted to have a go. With him were Kenny Hamlyn, Peter Bailey, Johnny Stammers and John (Pegleg)Green. Terry who filmed it was an ex BBC cameraman who bought a driving mare off Tony. All gone now except for Kenny and Greeny. Great driving days.
