OMG! Thank goodness for your video. I am just now, 5 years after you did it, installing this light fixture. I couldn't get the bracket to grab either. I just couldn't figure out why it wouldn't attach. I used spacers left over from a TV mount and the sucker clicked right in! Thank you! By the way, I am an old lady and totally enjoyed your captions during the video.

I came to the video because i got stuck at the exact same spot. I like your fix but I'm wondering - How do you remove the light once it's up? People don't typically go yanking at light fixtures to take them down. Is it safe to yank it down?

They last forever With motor sealed if it rains bit in window doesn't bother it. We run it from nov-early may to move heat off back porch where our old wood stove is then by ?? Mid June temps 80+ we put in porch window to pull air thru house it runs till early September. Had ours 3 years now plus bought a sl smaller size rated 2400 cfm it's used all summer . Am looking to buy one more like the 20 inch as trying to do without air conditioning. & for as powerful of a fan it's not real loud...

I have a set and there is absolutely smell. Two other comments also said they had no smell. Not sure why yours smell so bad, you certainly are making an extreme reaction to the smell.

Just installed this light in January 2024. Still the same shitty design. We added a ring of soft Styrofoam under it and that did the trick. Looks nice in our staircase, so we got that going for us which is nice

2023 and they still sell this light with no design upgrade. It's a horrible design. But yeah the flush mount LED system with this look is very limited.

Big thanks for the vid and also thanks to all who commented. I tried a 3mm nut and two washers each side and still cannot get it to attach. So I tried to just attach the ring to the clips on the counter and the ring bent from forcing it down and it won't attach. The metal clips are too high of a tensile strength - they don't bend one iota. It has been extremely frustrating. Previously I had bought a Juno 5" surface mount led from Amazon that has an even worse design than this POC....I am on a roll of crap design lighting 🙄

I think the strobe effect is for those whose computer is in a room with black lights. I have the same keyboard. I am not a gamer. I just needed a keyboard I could afford.

Pedro, I'm very confused what you're asking. When in doubt, hire an electrician (or buy one a beer so he'll do it for free). In the United States, typically, Red/Black is your hot wire. White is your neutral. Green (or bare copper) is your ground. You would want to connect the black wire to whatever hot wire you have. The white goes to white. The copper goes to the ground conductor. But like I said, if you're confused, hire an electrician! They'll appreciate the work and knowing your house won't explode when you flip the breaker back on is worth the extra expense.

Hi Emilio. As far as I can tell, no. While there is room inside, you need to keep in mind that the cable is never going to wind perfectly inside the housing. If the cable was any longer, it could create issues when putting the cable back. Additionally, from a safety stand point, I really dislike splicing extension cords unless you're splicing them directly to something that will only draw a few amps. Otherwise, you risk overheating that connection and causing an electrical fire. I can't find a way inside it (though I'm not trying too hard). If you really want to do this, I strongly recommend replacing the entire cord rather than trying to extend it. Personally, if you need longer range, I'd probably recommend getting 2 of these and positioning them strategically across your space. It'll probably save you quite a bit of unplugging and replugging as you move from tool to tool around the workspace.

Not gonna lie as I’m watching this video I’m thinking to myself man this dude is actually kinda hilarious for about the first 3 minutes that is. After that I was like okay man your starting to over do it witch continued until I no longer thought you where funny it just got really cringe and I didn’t get much of a monitor review at all just corny jokes in a drawn out video…. Just my 2.cents man I think you would have a lot more followers had you toned it down some a little less info on your jokes and less jokes themself and quicker to the point and I think it would benefit the channel.

Now I am scared. I just started trying to install the exact same fixture. Problem one is only two wires from the ceiling- no ground wire. And I was worried about getting the fixture to attach to the bracket. My fears seem justified.

lol, I went through a really nasty divorce and my lawyer didn't want me shooting any videos while it was going on. Everything should be resolved very soon and videos will start rolling again! Seriously though, I got more subs in the 2 years that I didn't post videos than in the 2 years I was posting videos. Growing my channel by not creating content is SO much easier!!!
