Ed Gein and Jeffrey Dahmer are on the top of my list of The Most Sickening/Ghoulish Killers Ever. Along with Robert Berdella and John Gacy behind them.

The movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on Ed Gein except Gein's crimes happened in Wisconsin & he didn't use a chainsaw.

“Test test test… ok, uh, this is uh, august 20th 1973. The time is uh, 3:47 p.m. our location is the Hewitt residence on route 17; it’s where victim one was found. We’re gonna do a walk-through, and now we’re descending the stairs into the furnace room… uh - there’s - over here - there’s scratch marks along the wall. There’s some more right over here, right over here. And, oh, there’s something over here. Seems like a clot of here and an imbedded fingernail. All right, we’re gonna move on into the actual furnace room”. “The crime scene was not properly secured that day by Travis county police. Two investigating officers were fatally wounded that day. This is the only known image of Thomas Hewitt, the man they call leatherface. The case still remains open today”

It's amazing watching history right here even though it was bad history. I always thought the 50's and 60's were a better time in general, but you had your nutcases back then too.
@bradt6740 Жыл бұрын
Ed Gein was scary, but some part of me feels for him since he took all that abuse from his mom and was suffering a horrible mental illness. What he did was horrific and I'm not denying that, but the man was damaged from the start.
@_MjG_7 ай бұрын
No duh! There have always been nutcases throughout all of history. Serial killing was on a significant rise beginning in the 50s but even way more prominent from 70s to 2000. However, there are many other conditions which contribute to whether the 50s & 60s were better or worse in general & that all depends on who's perspective you heard it from.
