Any further info on the item with the Staffordshire Knot on? I found something identical, but it has a flower pattern and the word “Improved” on it.

Wise words in your summary my friend. You had a few 'teasers' come up in your long day, that's for sure! With the Church tower in the background, I would have thought the land would have hidden more of the older pieces, but that's just the way it goes.
