Is the back of the tablet VESA compatible? I haven't seen any screw holes in the back when doing research. I want to mount it to my monitor arm but I can't if it doesn't have any screw holes..

This is not a dip pen, I really wish the review had used the pen with its actual ink container inside so that we could see how the ink flow of the pen is. I am considering buying the pen as a present but I was unsure of how good the ink flow was with that type of a nib.

As a beginner I kept hearing about the color so I got it. Frankly, I dislike it. I never reach for it. There are a bunch of other greens I will defer to besides this one. to each his own.

Hey all! I just got this pen and it’s lovely except it doesn’t write on the reverse / back side of the nib. I thought fude nibs were supposed to do this so please let me know if I have a wonky one (and should replace) or if it’s expected?

I often draw and brainstorm where wifi access is non-existent, like in national parks, ranches, or on trail rides. In some places I don't even have access to phone towers. This is a good alternative for field notes, where I want a hard copy saved on a device with good battery life, and will upload when I get back to the ranch or muster point. I appreciate tech that allows me to to keep digital freeform copy when untethered to the internet and can charge from a solar panel. Perhaps this seems useless if you are always indoors and attached to your phone and a ready source of power, but for people who are not, this is a piece of tech I value - especially since it's still supported? When wacom's similar offering isn't.

I love my Galen case (I have the smaller case). I bought mine from a small fountain pen company in Brampton, Ontario. Fabulous product that I got for a great price. I keep three fountain pens, a da Vinci travel brush and a small sketchbook in mine.

Hi Teoh. That is a fantastic pen case. You need though to condition the leather of this case with the appropriate product for the leather that this pencil case is made off, before using it and to apply also a bit of soap on the zipper. A tiny bit of soap from a dry soap bar on the metallic teeth of the zipper will make the zipper work smoothly. Leather accessories should not be cleaned in the washing machine. They should not also get in contact with water unless they are conditioned with grease or whatever the manufacturer recommends. ( wax, oil etc). If you take the appropriate care leather products last literally for ever, something that makes them eventually more eco friendly than synthetics.

I love this company. I have 2 sizes of their Tomoe River notebooks and they are beautiful. Now that I am using fountain pens I am saving up for one of their pen cases. I also love the little extras they always include, such as lettering guides for the notebooks, a little piece of candy, sometimes a scent sachet and my very favorite, an evil eye charm!

Glad to see this review. My friend bought some of the postcards from this brand and they were also quite nice. Jerry's Artarama has brought out New York Central Art Supply paper and they have this same packaging. I wonder if they are made by the same company.

My goodness, that's the same price as Arches blocks! This is why I buy loose sheets or sketchbooks, mostly. The hotpress is very textured, that seems odd.

Jan 2025 update: The colours have faded, including black that became ghost white. There was also some mold problem.

split between getting this one or cintiq 16, the price is not too much of a different, but people say the pen experience of a wacom is top tier. in your opinion, do you find the pen experience to be that worth it versus the larger screen ? Also a lot of people on reddit saying the color accuracy is bad on the kamvas plus 22, especially on the blue and purple hue

I bought an Osprey Madison zebra g nib fountain pen specifically made for this reason. Wouldn't feed to the nib no matter what i did. I complained to Osprey and they said they would send a replacement section but i would have to pay the postage of over $30 with no guarantee it would fix the problem. I said no thanks and put the pen where it belonged in the bin!
