The fight was there, and the style of play Hanwell use, requires being first to the ball and looking physically superior. The game at Salisbury is in their own hands, but it's just one game showing same committment.

Hanwell are their own worse enemies. Absolutely no enthusiasm for the ball. Do any of them get a sweat on! You can sense an arrogance about them. Its like: "I can clearly do it, so I don't look too bad". Rubbish. You play for the team and not yourselves. Balls are knocked over the defenders far too easily. Talk about a casual approach. When you are relegated, they'll be no broken doors. Just to a bit of urgency in your play, because you all look so fake.

You have good players, but other sides play with an edge: passion. Your players dont show that. They just about do enough. Do you think Hendon did the same? They won games like FA Cup matches. That's why we're safe and you're not.

To get results, a team has to play with passion to get that bit extra, but Hanwell players don't have that spark.

Beaconsfield continued with their brilliant pass to feet attacking style, from the game with Hendon, but wasted so many chances to have scored 4. The keeper had to make one great save, plus be brave to smother another, so this game could've been lost. A brilliant team, who made that game with Hendon, a throwback to Newcastle under Keegan. Hendon had to play their best- upfront -for many years to claw back the score.

Please come next Tuesday, to watch your local neighbours- Hendon versus Wingate and Finchley - in a cup derby. Hendon are giving the best season in years, and facing Oldham in January. Finchley are a giant in non league circles. This match will have a big crowd, and very competitive on the pitch. I tip a 3-3 draw, going to penalties. It's only a fiver too. The stadium sits between Kingsbury and just before West Hendon. It's on Townsend Lane and at bottom of the hill. See you all there!

Great game - end to end stuff, very exciting and hard fought. I was really impressed with the speed of play. It was well worth the trip down from Oxford, AND we had the added bonus of the Jerk Chicken stand.
