Hanwell Town 5-0 Hendon (26.10.24) - Match Highlights

It was back to the FA Trophy for the Geordies as they welcomed Isthmian Premier and fellow London side Hendon. The Greens got to the FA Trophy First Round Proper in spectacular fashion dispatching Bedford Town 5-1.
Hanwell opened the scoring early on when Alfie Pendlebury turned in Dan Carr's free kick. Just before the break Pendlebury doubled his tally with another close range effort, this time Jordan Edwards assisting. Alfie then completed his hat trick just after the hour mark from the penalty spot after Kyron Richards was brought down inside the box. Dwayne Duncan got in the goalscoring action turning in a Dan Carr corner. And lastly Nathanael Boayke poked home from a goal mouth scramble to round up a not so boring afternoon.
The win see's Hanwell Town into the Second Round Proper and an away tie with Folkestone Invicta. However, it's back to league action with games at home to Winchester City, away to Tiverton Town, and at home to Enfield Town the Middlesex Senior Cup.

Very nice game and club. We came from Paris, on holidays in London, we wanted to see this kind of atmosphere.
