I am a pastor in a nondenominational church, but I lead toward a more liturgical style of worship. I would love to find an Anglican church in my area. I hope to post an updated video as I've remodeled and everything looks very different. Thanks for watching.

@@mythicalhistory Anglicanism has a very beautiful tradition and liturgy. I personally enjoy the St. John Chrysostom, which is why I go to a EO Church, but there is something very interesting of the development of the BCP and the English liturgy. I would love to see your remodeled Library, personally I'm a little envious lol. Blessing be to you!

I would like to read Hudson Taylor's biography thank you for introducing him. I wonder about the cause and effects of things. You seem to be a man of thick skin. I have a story of hard ship. I ask the question, why is there a filter in civilization? And thank goodness there is music to cope with. Paying the asking price beyond the cross is much to think of that one thing to get ones own self through that kind of hurt. But to come away in this hurt is to ask who is this God; I mean who is He? I really still don't know. To be pressed and measured. There's so much hurt on this planet. And to be honest I think it is easier to change the name of the solar system. To win money is one thing. But don't ask God to go through a trial to win the lottery. Because as currency is backed by the full faith of the U.S.A and the expense of faith to win the lottery is not even worth it. I more see you as somebody to be a scholar. I admire the emense library collection that you have. Oh by the way I love Charles Dickenson 'A Tale of Two Cities'. "The leprosy of unreality disfigured Every human creature in attendance...." And I can't remember the rest with out looking. But if your looking for True treasure!!! Ask God about the leprosies. They are the most powerful on the planet Earth and they have the best treasures. The ones that are attacking this treasure trove is the (cure for religion, mental medication, great demand to not covet, Schizophrenic). Or better yet said the Garden of Gethsamane. Just for the multiple pursonalities that pour all over. Such as the desire of destruction of Hollywood. It would actually be easier to sit a child in front of a leprosy then sit a child in front of a tv to watch hollywood. I hope you read this Mythical History and I would like to see more video's. I believe your anger towards the lack of funds for meliorism could be applied to teaching others what you know from those books. And thank you for leading me to Hudson Taylor's story. I really appreciate it!

Hi! I saw your video showcasing your home library in the basement. If you haven’t already, I’d highly recommend checking the radon levels down there. You can purchase a radon detector and measure it yourself to ensure it’s safe to spend time in the basement. Radon is a gas that can increase the risk of cancer, so it’s important to stay aware of it.

Hi ,does the plastic in the stem cause any damage?
@mythicalhistoryАй бұрын
Damage in what way? I've not had any issues with vulconite or wooden stems.
@Hugin-MuninnАй бұрын
@mythicalhistory I'm considering a purchase, I just read that there is a plastic tube in the pipe stem and I'm afraid of the carcinogenic effects of plastic(sorry my english is not good)
@mythicalhistoryАй бұрын
@@Hugin-MuninnThe confusion was on my end. As for a plastic tube, none of my pipes have a plastic tube in their stems. The vulcanite stem would be the closest, but since it doesn't get hot, I don't worry about any carcinogenic effects. Hope this helps, and enjoy your new pipe.

I love this style of video. Your library is magic and makes me envious! I don't think I'd ever leave! Random and seemingly unrelated point: Are you concerned about the candles and pipe smoking in a lower level of the house, both from a fire hazard perspective and an air quality perspective as well? Hope to see more videos from you soon, sir!
@mythicalhistoryАй бұрын
I don't worry about the candles since I usually only burn them during the holidays and blow them out when I leave. As for the pipe smoke, the library is closed off from the rest of the house so it doesn't leave the room and affect the rest of the house.

An important point for Christians to learn; we can learn from people of other religions. It has nothing to do with abandoning Jesus and everything to do with human dignity and recognition of the fact that God is calling ALL to Himself. The experience of others is always valuable. Also, great points about cultural appropriation. Blessings brother!

Moral of the story: Always carry some matches and a corn cob pipe loaded with a good codger blend to offer someone who needs to calm down. BTW, the two-digit number of the cigar--the ring gauge--is the diameter expressed in 64th's of an inch. Your cigar, a 50 ring gauge, is 50/64th's of an inch, or .78". That's a beefy one, for sure. Thanks for sharing your story--pleased that it had a more peaceful resolution.

Another excellent video. Taylor's story is reminiscent of the book of Job, the book in the Bible that I've read far more than the others. I agree with you: every single one of us carries burdens that we hide from others and it's helpful for us to remember that fact as we interact with those we don't know. Like our own behavior, theirs is a product of the heartaches and fears that they carry with them. Not one of us is immune. An anagram of Hudson Taylor is "Adorn my soul." Seems so fitting.

I dust one a week or so and have no cobwebs, ants, or silverfish. I do have Coppleston's volumes on philosophy and Schaeffer's complete works. Both are great reads. As for being rich, I'm not. I worked in publishing for many years through which I received more than half of the books for free and the others were purchased used or over a several year period of time.
