I just bought a pair of Viking bags for my ‘04 VXT 1300C. They look great out of the box. Mounting them looks to be more of a challenge than I originally thought. I did not get a solar charger, flashlight, or inside bags like I’ve seen on social media posts.

It’s a nice looking fairing; however, it is a prototype at best. The first flaw I experienced was the support bracket supposedly designed for my motorcycle obstructed the ignition switch. Advanblack tech-support, Steve never returned my request for solution so after some fabrication on my own, I was able to start the motorcycle with the fairing in place. The windshield bushings are shit, and the rest of the fairing has been rattling apart since the day I installed it. The best use of these fairings is perhaps for a movie set not daily use. I have since purchased a 2024 Lowrider ST. If you’d like an ST fairing, I suggest you get it from Harley Davidson. It is a superior product not a prototype or movie set look alike.

Why wouldn't you mount from the left?
@BeejPowersАй бұрын
Curious why you didn’t mount the speedo underneath the bars instead of behind? That kit lets you swing it through the risers and hang under the bars/ over the triple tree. Gets it even closer to you and more out of your line of sight.

The only reason you would buy a Harley is a love of America. Everything about it is outdated. Woke people hate America and themselves for that matter. LGBT is only 11% of the population and not really growing. 70% is religious and not into woke. Black and Hispanic the fastest growing group in the Republican Party and newist gun owners. No one cares who anyone loves and hate is always wrong but the woke sh!t promotes decision and self hate to appeal to an unappeasable bunch of crybabies jumping at shadows trying to find some hate for the sake of decision.

Everything you said about these bags is 100% accurate. The installation was an ABSOLUTE PAIN. I dread having to take them off for anything. I hate the Viking logo as well. But otherwise, they do they job I need them to do. They do work well for my travel needs with an extra bag sitting behind me on the seat.

I see everyone's paying close attention to those 30km/h speed limits there just as they do with the 20mph speed limits here in London. What's the theft situation there? I've heard that in London motorbike thefts are so common you just can't insure some bikes, people are having quotes of upwards of £7K and even small bikes, most insurers are demanding a grand for theft cover. I've seen footage of bikers in cities here now being pursued by gangs who are after their bike!

The bike has got thumbs up across the board from hundreds of reviews, unless they were done by people who expected 1200 cc size and performance from a 350 cc motorcycle World sales are bonkers. Making another review at this stage is questionable, unless some unforeseen insight or new feature is being revealed. Riding any motorcycle without proper vented summer protective gear is even more questionable. Dumping any motorcycle no matter how "tiny", has an undesirable effect on skin It's interesting how many reviewers have changed their tune after riding this bike. Mirrors can be changed to bar ends easily. Vibration is not an issue. Performance can be increased with air intake and cat delete mods. People who want a reliable, good looking, fun bike to commute or cruise the secondary roads on cannot make a better choice. PS re. the tripper nav problem may have something to do with your bluetooth version or perhaps a faulty unit. (dealer issue) Cheers.

Obviously I can't keep up with them on motorways but on back roads this bike is amazing. Also a lot of my mates said this bike is completely different experience from their big v twins but keep asking to take it for a spin and love it. I think it takes you back to this raw biking experience where you don't have much power and electronics at your disposal like back in the 50's!

The answer is... no. Yet, the 350 is excellent for small town run abouts. I've moded my 350 about as far as you can go, but there's a speed limiter that can be by passed. Yet, I feel the 350 is not stable enough for 88 mph. Plus, you'll travel back in time if you go faster. 😅

So these bushings were made by some guy who is a contact of the mechanic at the dealer. So it’s not from an official outlet. However, someone has commented here that HD sell original ones that are a mix of metal and rubber (which sounds great). I’ll try to find the link for them and pin it to a comment on the video.
