@razmobility That's good to hear that. It's a potential update .The scammers are seen to be texting now and I want to prevent outside Text to go to her phone. If they're not in the contacts
@mkulchar10 сағат бұрын
@razmobility that would be great to see or have as scammers are now using text messages. So if there is a way to text on the phone but only allow incoming and outcoming from people on the contact list will be a great feature

Hello! For friends to video call the senior, do they download the same app as the caregiver (RAZ care) or is there a different app for them?
@razmobilityАй бұрын
Hello! Any contact can easily video call the senior using the RAZ Care app. This ensures that only trusted contacts are able to place video calls.

This phone could have been an option for a person with dementia... if the Emergency button could be removed, but I've read by comments from people that have bought the phone that it cannot, too bad! Also, would be great if it was available in Europe. In Sweden, if you abuse the emergency number you can actually be prosecuted, sentenced to daily fines, or even imprisoned... most likely not if you have dementia, but its a misuse of emergency resources.

Hi Michael! Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. Regarding the Emergency button, we have great news! Since our last update, it's now possible to remove it from the screen. Caregivers can choose the best method for their seniors from these three options through the RAZ Care app: 1) Keep the emergency button at the top of the screen, as it is now. 2) Set emergency services as a contact (with the option to choose the position of the contact icon to avoid it being at the top). 3) Use the regular keypad only, requiring the senior to manually dial the emergency number. Currently, the RAZ Memory Cell Phone is available in the U.S. and Canada. However, we recommend you to stay tuned for upcoming news :)

It’s my understanding that there is no voicemail. As a caregiver I would want this limited feature. Because even though I insist on having Dr offices contact me. They still manage to call and leave messages on my dependents phone. I would suggest this phone have the ability to receive voice messages that only the caregiver can access. Similar to the iPhone feature Silence unknown callers (non-contacts) which directs them straight to voicemail. Also dependents still have friends and business contacts that would be unable to contact Them/Us if only input contacts can be received.

Hello! Through the RAZ Care app, you, as a caregiver, can manage the features your senior has access to. For example, you can choose whether or not they have access to Voicemail. Additionally, you can create an Allow List for people who are not contacts but are still permitted to call the RAZ Memory Cell Phone, such as a doctor's office. You can also access the call history of the RAZ Memory Cell Phone, allowing you to see who has called your senior and whom they have called. If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out to us. We'll be glad to help!

It’s a real shame that I called Verizon and they had absolutely NO idea what this phone even is. Makes me wonder…

@@razmobility Thank you! We went with a landline you suggested! Thank you! Much cheaper and easier for him, plus Syntrio was wonderful enough to waive the connection fee.

Is there a way for them to use the camera? I get that it's basic, but need something a bit more complex than this!

Hmm, an interesting phone.

Hmmm... would also allow inheritance-grubbing low-lives the ability to control EVERYTHING so they can SCAM their loved ones! I believe if a loved one is to the point that they cannot use a cell phone responsibly, then they should use landlines during a scheduled time. PS Before the harsh attacks... I'm in the age category. Could lead to another social term..."Lets RAZ Grandma!"

My only concern if you buy this for an older person with dementia or alzheimer's is there a way it can be charged like a docking station similar to a wireless landline that older folks are used to ??? Because if it's like a normal cellphone i could see an older person not being able to keep it on charge or they drop it and break the screen I wish there was a cell phone that looks like a landline that stays plugged up to the electrical outlet by a wire to the base with big buttons and or pictures and the phone speaker that normal is connected with the cord is wireless would be so much easier for older seniors just pick it up dial with big numbers and or pictures then put the phone back on the base to hang up small handheld cell phone sometimes is hard for people with unsteady hands to dial and sometimes landlines aren't available to make easy call outs and ins at assistant living facilities

You mean a cordless phone?
@TorstenKnabe9 ай бұрын
So you can get close - they sell an optional charging cable that is curly and looks like a landline phone cable. You could just always keep it plugged in
