My recipe has zero food coloring and everyone loves it. Let the natural chemical reaction do its work! It should ALWAYS be served at room temp and save yourself by NOT eating a store bought red velvet cake! Homemade is so easy and delishussssss❤

Not sure what the point is? Why would therr be crumpled paper on this cake? Perhaps if you made something out of it, such as a heart similar to the one in the vid, then put a ring under it?

Steep hibiscus 🌺 leaves. Add simple syrup and add to the batter. It'll be super red.😊. I haven't tried that, but I brew hibiscus to drink from dried raw, organic hibiscus flowers.

Easy to make RED velvet cake, from original recipes- red without food color! The chemical reaktion from mixing buttermilk and real cocoa powder, makes it redish.... not screaming red, but red.

I'm Japanese. I guess the "red rice powder" or "Koji" 1:10 means "red yeast rice", but it has possibility to get toxic mold like citrinin. It requires very careful storage conditions.
