This is my first summer using FourPlay and it does what it says. I used this in a hose end spray bottle and the dry spots are greening up.

So, it’s OK to apply this in the evening and water it in ? even though I normally don’t water my lawn at night here in Greenville SC. Also, if I get one of those ortho sprayers and apply the proper ounces of foreplay in, how do I know what ounce to set the dial on because I’m thinking that the hose is feeding water constantly into the bucket how do I know when it runs out or how do I know when to stop? Thanks.

Liked and sub’d. I’m in Greenville SC and about a week ago We hit the 90° weather days and all of a sudden my zoysia started getting heat or dry spots in my zoysia just all of a sudden I’ve heard about baby shampoo and water on the lawn. Is that a good budget remedy what would you suggest?

Your loss. Not mine. I don’t make money off this stuff. I really don’t care what you believe. But I was hand watering those spots daily before the application and then I hand watered them for 4-5 days post application. I only water my entire lawn 2x per week. Like I said. Idc if you’re convinced or not 😂

Well, fwiw, you did water the dormant areas more tban you would ha e otherwise. The true test would have been to water the entire yard like you normally would.

Thing is. I was hand watering those spots for weeks prior to the application. No watering schedule changed. I kept hand watering after the application the same as before.

What time of day are you applying Fourplay? I heard you shouldn’t do it at night to prevent disease.

I only had to apply it the one time. I try to not put anything down at night that needs to be watered in. Yes you can possibly get fungus or disease from grass staying wet throughout the night. But once or twice doesn’t cause issues. As long as you’re watering in the morning or the evening and has time to dry before sunsets. You’ll be fine.

No. Because I was hand watering those spots daily before the application was put down. It’s always smart to do the same thing you were doing before adding something new. To see if there’s a change or not. If I wasn’t hand watering before I did it, then yeah, I could see how that would come across as it just being that it was hand watered. Everything stayed the same before, during and after the control.

Not immediately no. But it won’t activate until it’s wet. With our climate, in the spring, it rains quite a bit from April - June. But it would need to be watered in around 1/2” of water within a day or two of application

You can buy a deflector From Lesco. I just start my throws to where I know it’s throwing the product 3-4 feet out to the right and go from there. I’ve never really been one to use deflectors

I got one at Lowes on clearance for $54. It was missing direction, nuts and bolts, rod for the shut-off. I was able to fabricate a new one using cable with turn-buckle for adjustment.

Great video and HUGE help. Question, why is that at 9:52 the welds on the cross bar on the under side as you warned us of, but at 13:45 the welds are on top? I had to keep coming back to the video while I was assembling, the make sure I was not losing my mind. LOL Thank you again for posting this. The instructions that came with the spreader suck hind t!t?

Because I was stupid and I did exactly what not to do. So in the second segment, it was on the correct way. I’m glad the video has helped. Because yes. The instructions were trash lol

@@lawnguy I have always used a drop spreader (2000sf lawn) but could not pass up this spreader. I knew no one in Albuquerque would spend $300 for this spreader so when Lowe’s marked it down to $59, I jumped on it. Really, bought the damn thing on general principle and this video helped keep the cuss words to a minimum while assembling.

Moloch's lawn suggested I contact the manufacture and I will give that a try. Like you, I am not sure that I would have paid the full price. I just bought one today but fortunately the Site One employee put it together for me along with the deflector. I have an Earthway spreader and the opener part is plastic so it flexes when trying to open and close; it started having issues opening the chutes because of the plastic connection and flex. I finally had enough this past weekend when I was doing lots of yard work (de thatching, overseeding and fertilizing) and bought the Lesco 50 today. The chute opener on the 50 is metal and should not have that flex like the opener on the Earthway.

I did the install. I know there wasn’t any big rocks when we sodded. Also brought in close to 4” of topsoil. The biggest issue is it’s slightly sloped and has a metal edging between the turf and the garden. So it tends to get a little hotter. But the Fourplay fixed it by 90%-95%. Thoroughly impressed

@@jukio02 I apologize if I came across as rude. Not my intentions. Been arguing with a few extremely stooooopid people all day on another platform regarding the video. It was a meteor tho. They have satellite images for the weather system that showed its heat signature when it passed into our atmosphere. It then shows it splits off into two chunks. This video is of one of those chunks. It then landed about 10 miles from my house. They’re still searching for the impact location
