To science it further I'd recommend starting with a platform in mid air and then shooting a zip line into it, then break the plat so that it's just the zip line floating in midair - repeat as much as you want if you want like 2 or 3 players looking over the hole - but the point is to have the player staying in the same position when throwing c4, throwing nukes, shooting epcs etc, and by hopping onto a zipline whats anchor point is floating in midair will mean that the player will get to the end point and stay there instead of having to constantly spam ‘E’ to reverse direction Driller speccing out their c4 for carving radius and max ammo (7.6m radius and 4 max ammo respectively, go nuts), and epcs for tcf would be enough, and engies getting out the phat boi with max ammo (3 per resupply) would be all thats needed - and then getting 1 gunner and either 2 drillers or 2 engies take your pick Get a zip line end point floating in midair, then get on it, look straight down and c4 yourself. Rinse and repeat (and revive) until there’s now a hole beneath the zipline (to make sure the c4s aren’t carving the tunnel aren’t starting off at an angle), then alternate between c4 and nukes when looking straight down on the zipline to minimise the arc of each c4 thrown/nuke launched so they all land in the same place in order to get the most depth out of each resupply. Rinse & repeat until you get bored or run outta nitra, then all get on zip lines over the gaping hole in the map and admire your work. Again, checking the depth from the stationary zipline to get a reliable reading - and maybe bring a scout if you wanna use the flaregun to get better footage of the tunnel Now, to spice it up, perhaps you could use that excess fuel and drill a spiral staircase down around the tunnel, because technically you’re only carving out the _radius_ of each explosive, not the _diameter_, because the whole upper half of the explosion isn’t doing anything. If you were to get into the bottom of the tunnel, drill down a lil bit further and then drill your way back to the staircase outta the blast zone, you could ensure that each c4 & nuke will end up “under the ground” when they blow up, instead of merely laying on the surface of the slag, and only using one half of the explosion: that’s up to a whole 200% more explosion per explosion! And to science it the most, what’s stopping you from setting up more stationary ziplines as the tunnel gets deeper and deeper to get some use of the EPC and TCF? Well firstly, it wouldn’t be “sciencing it the most”, as it has to be triggered by the player before it hits surface, so as -war criminals- dwarves of science we cannot for certain state that we are getting the most carving depth outta our nitra due to this unknown factor. Secondly, it might intrude on the view of the entire tunnel from the starting zip line above if you were get on the original zipline, and look down only to see the view filled with other ziplines below you instead of the yawning maw of the tunnel below you. Thirdly, it probably wouldn’t take that long until you get to the un-c4-able and un-nukeable bedrock layer. By that point, you can call it a night… or think about how to exploit your science for more funding: and carve out another tunnel above you to the bedrock at the top of the map. Here you can then charge aspiring dwarven scientists - and apparently people with a hatred of geology - money to do the ultimate bungie(less) jump in company history and jump/drop from stationary zip line from the top of the map down to the bottom, and see if they can catch a zipline waiting for them at the bottom, thereby negating all of the their fall damage (or charge them extra for hoverboots I guess). But in all seriousness, no, you’d have run outta nitra long before that - not to mention the patience, sanity and the power of friendship to keep you together. Honestly this didn’t take me that long to write Any other suggestions feel free to add!
