I've been loving tuning into the streams. Freedom was my first introduction on the PSP, I used to go to my friends house ALL THE TIME to play with him. We basically duo'd the entire Gathering Hall through 10th grade. Thanks for the streams, Nyx!

Even on Console, the Beta was awesome, I simply cannot wait to play this again. I also noticed that if you do an input to perfect block or counter the moment a monster hits you, the monster takes priority which could be why your R2 got denied multiple times. Rey Dau's wing dragging move is also... weird, it's like he just teleports slitghly to his left during the animation causing you to get surprised & get hit which sucks Jaggi ass ! Anyway, it's awesome to see a Wilds vod from a fellow Frenchie ! Have a good day !

Honestly I don't think focus mode will be as mandatory for optimal damage output as you believe. Sure it will probably make a difference but experienced players will already have good positioning and won't need to rely on focus mode that heavily imo. Of course tricks like the GS wakeup are something different but I don't think that's very intrusive to the gameplay. But we will see how things will turn out.

Hmm well that's not how it felt when I tried LS at Gamescom and how other good LS players felt either. You clearly cannot have the same moveset without the use of focus mode. It's modifying the weapon's attacks too much. That has been demonstrated in a lot of clips, especially in the Japanese community (including the ones I show in this video)

@@benturtl9076 I chose the clip at 6:55 because it shows that special sheathe can’t be aimed in any direction like you could in MHW/MHR or like Foresight Slash. However you can aim it if you use focus mode. The only move you can use to reposition or get better angles for your spirit thrusts is the new crimson slash see clip at 7:25

Fantastic video, love your thoughts on this! Great work on the English as well! Something worth mentioning as well, this is Monster Hunter's first leap into Crossplay--this will be as much a test for our own hardware, as it will be a test for Capcom's servers hosting the crossplay. Previous games didn't run off of Capcom's servers, which was why we didn't have crossplay. Also that Shincry meme gives me life. 😂😂
