@LordHelmdach Greetings - and thanks for kind comment. that particular window comes from an add-on to S4Z called Zenmaster Mods. You can get it from the S4Z Discord. The specific Window from the suite of additional options you get from Zenmaster Mods is called "Route Profile With Segments". You can customise it a bit...I use the colour called "Veloviewerish" as I found that nicer to look at than the default option you get. Hope that helps. See you on the start line today perhaps!....

Indeed. Pacing the punchy parts was crucial in this TT. I am no top TT-er but managed to be 3th in HAB because I studied the course pretty good and followed a plan. Like Ken already said...just go full power on the '2' steep parts and find some recovery on the negative slopes and watch speed on the other sections (more then power). Worked brilliant and last 2 laps could push little harder even...ps; Nice victory in Yorkshire the day before ;-) From my point of view...you pushed to hard on some easy section. that downhill before chicane, you push 4ww/kg? I almost not pedaled there, and before the steep section I just cruised very easy so I can hammer the first part at 5.5-6, but also that second bump you had to try to go at 5.5...
@stijnb2645

Watched your stream again, and I think yo paced it not so bad, your punchy sections were pretty good. But that fast start was maybe not so smart? Here you can see yours vs my laps. Halfway you were 9 sec in front. At finish I was 10s faster. It just a detail but looking at your data I think you could have done 45.00-45.05 ;-) with a slightly reserved begin... Height is a definite impact on CDA. On analysis i have done 1 minute for 45 min race is very easy to gain just from being 15-20cm shorter or so. The CDA is much bigger impact than pacing strategy. I thought your pacing on the hills and downhills was good.

zwiftinsider.com/speed-tests-height/ A fellow Swedish Zwifter sent me this. Very interesting article. So..if this is true (don't see why not) height impacts things much more than I thought. If I read this right (it deosn't say how long the test was for...but i will assume 1h) then at 300w (which is what we all held..or thereabouts) then I loose around 3.7 seconds per centimeter. At 15cm taller than ML that is around 1min. now I am not sure if it is as "nice and neat" as that...but height does impact things for sure more than I thougtht. Hmm need to figure out how to shrink somehow :)

Nice work with the race reports! So I am similar weight and power but won my race in 44:06. I went hard on the climbs, chilled on the descents and held as much speed through the rollers as I could. Uneven pacing strategy made a big difference. Well done.

@SpinToWin74 comparing numbers I pushed much harder on the critical parts ie 15 and 30s efforts and less power than you on the longer periods. I could visually see the difference in pace to the rider's around me so knew it was paying off and the rest periods made it possible to maintain.

For the 19:30 race the A & B category went off at the same time, not sure why, so I was able to hang onto the A-group. This was NOT easy and I don't think I've worked that hard on zwift ever. It did however give me a really nice time gap because I was the only CRP who could (barely) hold on. Going off the start and having to go straight to a 1min 500W effort just to stay in the wheel was a real shock.

@mattjhann Yeah..I saw that. I wasn't in that race though...but not sure why that happened. Hi Sam! Just caught up on all your vids for this tour - a good Sunday evening watch mate 👍🏻 Never knew you lived in Scotland too! Firstly, great effort so far - I can tell you’re really giving it everything. For the ITT I always like a negative split so taking it easier at the start and building into it, seems to work for me. Yesterday was tough, it’s a really difficult course, I think you did great to hold on for as long as you did considering how you feel. I agree with what your teammates said, sounds a little like you’ve over trained or you’re still getting over your last illness maybe? Massive kudos to keep going - maybe target a stage in particular to get your best result based on what you’re strongest at? You’ve got this Sam 👍🏻

Nicely done, lots of good information in here. I've done almost every FRR the last couple years and it was helpful hearing about the changes. Just my two cents, have you tried playing with different video lengths? Hiya Daniel. It is called Club Ladder...you can read more here: ladder.cycleracing.club/ - but essentially it is a 'ladder' where you either challenge a team ahead of you on the ladder...or you get challenged by one behind you. And depending on whether you win/loose you move up/down on the ladder. It is 5v5...but you can organise 4v4 etc as long as you reach an agreement with the opposing team. I think it is one of the best race formats on Zwift. Tactics can make a huge difference...and a team with less strong riders generally...can still beat a team with better riders. I am not the admin on our side...so I don't know how you sign us as such...but I am sure if you contact the people behind Club Ladder they can help out. There are leage ladders in EMEA/Americas/Asia. Hope you have fun!

@ii-nico_r-ii1360 No problems with Cat A...the higher up the ladder you go the tougher the teams. I always like racing Cat As (well most of the time...:)) but these guys were too strong for me/us yesterday...so hats off to them !

Letting your cadence go to 0 every few seconds is ridiculous because of the way zwift works you end up with some free watts everytime you do this.

@roadcyclist1 Thanks for your comment - I honestly do appreciate the feedback. If I am doing something wrong - then clearly I need to change it. I can assure you there is no intentional attempt at gaining advantage here. A few thoughts a) I think you are exaggerating a bit and b) perhaps because the footage is often speed up it may look 'worse'...but I am certainly not going to deny that I stop pedalling in cases. When do I do this? Well everynow and then I just feel like I need a short breather before I keep plugging away. Deep breath and then go again. In other cases I do try to rest on downhills...even smaller ones..like a lot of the rollers on the courses we have been doing. And of course when I am completely spent then sometimes I have no choice but to rest for a little bit. That probably mimics outside riding but I fully appreciate Zwift is not outside. So - in today's race I am going to attempt (habits hard to break) to not stop pedalling (at least as much). I can't promise perfection but instead of stopping completely I will instead soft pedal. If you get a chance to look at the next video I would certainly appreciate feedback again. Cheers

@SpinToWin74 it is only an issue on flats and going uphill and only if you are doing it consistently. nice to see you will try to break the habit!

Great result mate! I was worried after yesterday but super pleased you managed to ride and do so well! 👍🏻 it’s still all to play for - I think you’re still in for a top 10, looking forward to the final few stages - hope the cold disappears also 👍🏻

Thanks Mr J. I can handle the EGAP loss...just hope I am feeling ok tomorrow. Was odd today...haven't had that happen before...so perhaps just really fatigued. But I did the 21 day Triquetra tour and seemed to get stronger through that so I thought my fatigue endurance was at least decent...so at a bit of a loss... But hopefully a good nights rest and I will be right as rain again...!...
