@FabioSantos-fs Haha..you are the second person to ask that on the back of this vid. As long as you have access to the S4Z discord server (you need to be a paying member to S4Z for that) you can then go to the section for mods. You need to look for Zenmaster Mods...and the specific "window" you use after downloading the mod is called "Route Prfile With Segments". You can then customise it...for example I use the Velo viewer-ish colour scheme rather than the standard one. Hope that helps?

Again, super video, and excellent race. As far as the ZRS it seems as long as you are in the top 2/3 your score will go up and I believe the closer you are to the top spots the higher exponentially your school will increase.
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@SteakandChains Thanks - much appreciated. That was one tough race - at least for me!...is ZRS really that 'simple'? Surely it takes into consideration a few more things than just 2/3rds? In any case it is what it is...and I am now really closer to the next cat...which will spank me..hard...but I am not going to "tank" some races to avoid that...really don't like that kind of behaviour :)
@zwiftingАй бұрын
Nice review Sam - I'm with you on most of the content. Very little I'd disagree with. But with the latest announcement for Britannia a lot will change for the next tour. Will be interesting to see how that pans out. On the face of it, it looks like a very different approach that should lead to a fair filtering process. Essentially riders cat'd on their current form (so illness, injury etc taken into account) and if they start hitting numbers substantially above their qualifier stage then it will be easy spot. I like to think of it like your are setting a ceiling on your performance for the rest of the tour. Some improvement might happen but your numbers on fresh legs at the start of a tour surely set your ceiling close enough and then its about who can repeat that most consistently for the week+ and not about who can imporve by an extra w/kg in the next week 🙂
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@zwifting Thanks. And yes I have seen his new changes...I really like it...but we/he needs to ensure we do an honest effort on the classification stage. But hopefully there will be a lot of things that FRR Race control can put in place to make sure people don't 'tank' that stage to hopefully get into a lower cat. On first glance I think there are a lot of data that he can pull and use to compare your classification effort...so fingers crossed this works out a bit better than this tour!...

Hi are you looking for a professional KZbin video SEO expert?
@LordHelmdachАй бұрын
Thanks for the video, the problem with the 5 minute PB is there. I am also an old diesel, new PBs are rare. We had a different phenomenon in BON. The winner always drove the last session. The times achieved there were weaker overall. So he had less eGAP and won more often - his overall time was then also significantly slower than the following riders in the GC. If I had ridden the last stage with him, for example, I would have kept my place in the GC. So I was in the strongest run and lost a lot of time. But overall, FRR is the fairest system on Zwift.
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@LordHelmdach I agree that different start times can give you an 'advantage'...but I don't know if we can hold that against riders really. Perhaps that was the only time he/she could ride. But I had a quick look at this rider...and, unless I am mistaken, he would have likely ranked up during the tour if VELO wasn't 'locked'....oh well :)...there will be different rules now for Tour Watopia...although I am not sure what you do about the 'issue' if it even is one...with riders riding in the less populated races....
@JordiRiuPopRiuАй бұрын
I finished the frame in 27th position at 11 minutes and with a Velo 1772 at 30 days. The same as your current Sam in Velo. I am more diesel and I failed in the first stages but I went from less to more. I went from category B to cat.A. Every runner with category A+ has to go to Cap. I like your comments before and after the race with the descriptions of each stage. You will have many more subscribers. Good health and see you soon. Greetings
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@JordiRiuPopRiu You were superstrong in the last 8 stages!...got a few podiums in races with some very very strong riders....so Chapeu. And if your VELO score hadn't been 'locked' (like everybody elses) your VELO would now be closer to 1900 I think (if not higher...). And contgratz on promotion to Cat A...fantastic. Thanks for your thoughts on the content. Much appreciated. See you around :)

I think the v-Elo score was turned off because people going for the jerseys may not be finishing races well, but winning their jersey, and they may be unfairly dropping v-Elo. I still don't think I agree with turning it off, but I can see the thought process behind it.
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@mattjhann I think you are right. However I thought he Virtual Broom Wagon was introduced to combat this. Also I am 100% convinced that turning VELO scoring off 'hurt' more people than having it on would. Yes...some riders may have been upgraded because they 'beat' high ranked sprinters that didn't care for time....but compare that to having 10+ riders (at least) 'stuck' in the wrong category whipping all of the other competitors in that start pen. I don't think the argument is even close...so FRR Race control needs to do what is best for the masses not the few... rant over :)
@jiandersenАй бұрын
Another great tour for sure! You did great and hammered true all 10 stages. In my opinion, a A+ rider should always be a CAP, always. Regardless of current or 30 day Velo rating. But, FRR was fun as always :) Lets hope they keep the Velo rating rolling proper next tour.
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@Juhusilver Thanks! Appreciate it. And yes I agree with you on Cat A+. Clearly some of these guys just hadn't raced much since the summer (or perhaps just don't race much period) in order to get their VELO score to the proper level. It is almost like Rich needs to put a 'combination' system of looking at power figures as some sort of 'floor' and then use the full VELO system on top...but let's see what happens. See you in Jan!Q
@stevennorman3900Ай бұрын
Complete agreement on the vELO score freeze for places. There were riders in my cat finishing 10 mins in front of some of the slower riders in each stage, but because they were riding steadier efforts for GC and already had high 5 min PBs, they wouldn't get score upgrades. This was then made to look worse when I saw some of those same slower riders get upgraded even though they were finishing WAY back because they would hit a 5min PB on a segment, and when looking at the 5min w/kg, it was actually usually lower than the 5min power numbers the leaders were putting out, its just that those leaders weren't putting out PBs, so riders were getting bumped up a category even though their 5min power was lower than the guys crushing every stage. I'm sure Rich will get it right for the next race though, and I can't wait until January!
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@stevennorman3900 Yeah...I think a lot of people faced/saw the same issues. Let's see what Rich can cook up. As I mentioned this is not a straightforward problem to solve alas....but I do think that your VELO score needs to move with placing. Hope you tour went well...and see you on the startline in Jan !
@SteakandChainsАй бұрын
Great job, and congratulations on top 50! I wish I could have completed all 10 stages so I know how I would actually do in my category. I ended in 69th for CAY of this that completed 9 stages. Considering this was my first one I had a great experience.
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@SteakandChains 9 Stages is no mean feat!....you will do all stages next tour...in fact that is a great goal I think to set for oneself...just to finish all of the stages... Keep going strong!
@kenallen4662Ай бұрын
Great work Sam, well done! All these different categorization systems are getting frustrating 😂I think that despite the seemingly widespread belief that a results-based system is the way to go that there needs to be a decent weighting on a riders actual ability (i.e. power numbers). The current Zwift racing score (which is loosely based on the vELO Rating system used here), would have me ranked with Tadej, just because I compete in a few races! Because of this FRR series it looks like I will now be stuck in A cat for Zwift despite having B grade abilities and the fact that most of the B grade races I've done are being destroyed by A+ level riders. Despite any wishful thinking a 5 w/kg+ rider is always going to destroy a 4w/kg- rider on a long climb 😜 Great series and keep up the excellent work!
@SpinToWin74Ай бұрын
@kenallen4662 Thanks - appreciate it. Yes - this is a really difficult one...and no matter what you do you can't please everyone. I will post a vid tomorrow on my take on the classification this tour as I don't think it worked that great this time around. For example I think there were many riders in CRP that were 'stuck' there when they should have moved to GHT or even CAP. How some of them had such low VELO scores at the start is beyond me.... I can only hope that with time a few of these gremlins get worked out and people find themselves in the right place...both for FRR and Zwift as a whole. For me I am also awefully close to ZRS 680+ and a few races probably will bring me over...but I am for sure a B Cat rider...no place mixing it with the As. Let me know what you think of my take when the vid comes out (hopefully tomorrow). And btw...great tour from you!
