I’ll be honest, I liked Linkin Park for about 6 months when I was in 8th grade, once I heard Dream Theater, Planet X, Meshuggah, Extol, Benea Reach, System of a Down, Korn and so many other bands I didn’t feel the need to keep spinning LP. Hey that’s just me though, jam what you love brother.

Thanks for the feedback. I believe that language is important, and being able to explain a concept in a thorough way is maybe just as important as being able to play it. At least I think that’s true if you’re making KZbin videos. That being said, yeah, more extreme djenting is coming soon and I’ll try to keep it succinct. Remember, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch.

Nice board, but honestly that guitar tone is overly cold to my ears... Either that, or it's a bit out of place for the music you're playing. The first part of the demo with the fuzz sounds harsh to my ears, and the second clean part sounds cold and overly processed if you know what I mean. My guess is that the guitar is the culprit for the cold/harshness, but it could be any other parts as well. Cheers
@DrewCreal

I agree with you there, it is a little cold. The orange Kiesel has a high output bridge pickup that’s great for high gain, but maybe not so much for the clean stuff. Thanks for watching anyways! Cheers !

One thing I would like to ask is when I connect my mobile phone via Bluetooth and play some music,I noticed that you cannot adjust the sound on the amp by using the bass treble or midrange knobs. Is this correct,or am I doing something wrong? Regards Ronnie.

“Cool company”…in business and economy does not exist…especially when all sourced materials come from the same places in the global south! If anything you should encourage someone who used to make fridges and pivoted into making these products because this is really how we make new sounds and innovate!
@DrewCreal
@DrewCreal 3 күн бұрын
I appreciate the perspective, but from what I can tell, Temu doesn’t have an RnD department where they are generating new sounds, they’re copying existing circuits on the market and making them with cheaper components. I agree with you though, Yamaha has made some amazing pieces of equipment over the years for guitar, and they make a slew of other products in other sectors of the economy.

RESPECT! thank you for showing this! This pedal still remains in my guitarsenal. It saved our asses on South American tours, when we had to use the FX return when we didn’t have our normal backline. And totally blew people away. It’s dark when through the Fx loop or power amp so that’s where the OD pedals shine. Also switching the switch to make Blue high gain and Red lower gain. I’ll be showing how I boost a 5150, and how we put LovePedal / Klon type of pedals in to it in to the Fx loop on the ToneConsultant -HomeWreckerPickups channel. One last thing. For us we turned off the treble cranked the mids. Lows at 1oclock and presence was our brightness

I do get the argument about people being unable to afford the things pensive option, it’s why Squier are a thing, it’s why Pacificas sell well… …the problem here is that when quality brands are undercut to such an extent, they fail because they can’t reduce their prices enough to compete, so you’re left with a poorer quality product, because, as is said in the video, the people making them don’t care about the sound, they just care about churning out as many units as possible.

The problem with the looper is the looper itself. It not does allow undo of your last overdub. All you can do is erase the whole loop. So people who actually want to have a basic but functional looper this product is not ready, sadly. I’ve seen several reviews of this product and none of them say anything until about this until the video is halfway over. By then it will be too late for for some of us. Buyer beware.

At least this guy sounds good. He’s obviously used a looper before and I bet he feels bad but that’s what happens when you’re reading a script/outline on a sponsored video.

@@davidschnittman7954 I think that functionality is coming with the next firmware update. You’ll be able to un-do mistakes while you’re looping soon.

He hasn’t even mentioned that there is no UNDO. Terrible looper. Terrible review for not saying ANYTHING about undo of overdubs. He didn’t even do a single overdub, I think, so you don;t even know if overdubbing is possible.

@@davidschnittman7954 calm down David, I’m right here. You can talk to me if you want. I make a bunch of different videos on my channel, and very occasionally, I get paid a small fee to make a product demo for a company. I’ve made hundreds of free gear videos over the years. I write my own scripts for the videos I make, and XSonic doesn’t tell me what to say. In my opinion this is a great product for anyone who has a Spark or THR. I tried my best to showcase all of the functionality, but sometimes it’s tough to fit that into a demo video. If you don’t like me or my videos, you don’t have to watch them. You can always make your own videos. Take care and good luck finding the right looper for you.

@@DrewCreal Ok Drew, I’m sorry if I seem overly upset but in fact I am upset. I guarantee you there are a lot of disappointed owners of this device who can’t understand why it’s “not working right” and I was almost one of them. I’ve watched about 4 of 5 of these videos over the last couple of months and they all follow exactly the same format as yours with regard to “UNDO” function. So if you reviewers are not following a sponsor’s outline of some sort let’s just say that’s a mighty big coincidence. Each of these reviews gets a little bit past the half way mark before any of them even mentions that the looper won’t undo dubs. A good review, an honest review would say this FIRST because it’s a huge problem. The advertising/advocatng for this as a true looper solution is just insulting to all of us who use basic loopers in our rigs and have been WAITING years for a SPARK looper. Every ENTRY level looper pedals on the market going back for at least 2 decades or more allows UNDO. This pedal only allows you to erase the entire loop. While the fact that there’s any looper available for Spark (in my case) amps is a step in the right direction the fact that it is being lauded as a “great looping solution” by every reviewer so far when it doesn’t have the basic UNDO looping functionality of any dirt cheap conventional looper is just incorrect at best and perhaps actually deceptive at worst. You’ve obviously got experience with operating looper pedals and surely you know this, don’t you? An honest review of this product (at least for spark) would laud the fact that with this pedal you have a good option for a LINE OUT which is a great thing for us SPARK users but that the looper is still awaiting basic UNDO functionality which will hopefully come in an update. But for now it is only marginally useful as a looper since it lacks an undo function of overdubs.
