Oh man that berroco light teal yarn is to die for! I might have to see if I can find some of that for myself. I'm sure it'll make a pretty shirt for you. Thanks for sharing your mom's sweater with us. She did a fantastic job making it. I think we appreciate handmade items more as adults, especially being crafters ourselves. Now we know how much work goes into it. The bags are cute, especially the f bag lol. Oh I'm so glad you like all the things. You look so cute modeling your fox bag. I love seeing the joy on your face even though I had to wait a month to see it 😆. The anticipation was killing me. Thanks for filming the opening. ❤❤

Hi Diane. Nice visit tonight. So, the sweater from your mom, yes, I have the pattern in my collection 😂. Love it! I’ve been using a smidge of my classic wool collection (where does this stuff keep coming from?🤣) making the Easy V by Caitlin Hunter. Like you, market makes are ceasing to excite me right now so pulled that and my LePouf Cardigan out and am doing some “me” knitting in between body parts lol. Another market this weekend but stock is solid so coasting right now. Very pretty happy mail tonight, so very beautiful and thoughtful ❤. Loved them all! See you next week, have a good one.

I don't have a favourite costume from growing up as I was never allowed to participate. In Australia, it is becoming more and more a thing but back 30-40 years, it was considered "American" and many did not participate. I am an introvert and I keep to myself. For Halloween, I dress up as a corpse woman and hide behind that persona while socialising with my neighbours. I stand outside my house and give lollies to the kids. It's fun ! This year I got heaps of photos taken by people with their kids and even with adults.

Your costume sounds fantastic. I agree with you, the colors are more variety than the usual Halloween colors. When I still lived with my mom, we didn't have allot of money. We made a costume using whatever we had and went to the rich neighborhood to trick or treat. By the end of the night I had to take off my "turban" which was a twisted pillow case to carry the rest of my candy. I was a Saudi Arabian zombie and at the time I could barely even say the words. Everyone thought I was super cute. It was a huge success.

Wow those are going to be amazing socks when you get them made. I love your costume story....Kermit for the win! When I was growing up we had a big box that we would take down from the attic every Halloween and make up our own costumes. My Grandmother could sew and we would collect different items throughout the year to put away in the box and come up with costumes on Halloween. My Mom loved dressing up for Halloween with us and we had a lot of fun sometimes deciding what we could be....great memories!

I’m so happy for your successful market! That idea to go 100% mittens sounds wise. You’ve got something pretty special there. Other than they’re being adorable I’m trying to put my finger on why I’m so drawn to them. Perhaps it’s the instant puppet/friend on a little one’s hand that speaks to me. I always did love puppets…well…till chucky came along! Anyway, well done. Ps. I had to rewind for a second look at your lighting, 😂.
