The infinite tool mod for items IS cheap and game breaking. Now caves can be maneuvered easily with infinite grapple hooks. And all early game enemies are now nothing because of infinite bolas. Some of the best gameplay of Ark is inventory management and making sure you have enough to survive the journey in a SURVIVAL game.

Pay to win for sure, but as mostly pve player i have a lot of fun in single player with this to be honest, got it most for the train and treasures

Its still happening i play pvp official solo and I could have a base up for months on ark survival evolved in a dense jungle area. Now i can make a 2 by 2 thats completely surrounded by trees and foliage and within a day or 2 itll be wiped

So a 12 minute rant on how it's pay to win... thanks for wasting my time.

As a PS5 player it's a total shit show at least for multiplayer. I only play official PVP servers. Trying to find an unofficial server with the couple mods you want is in impossible with out having 20 other mods that break the experience. And all I really wanted was a mod to control client side mod to eliminate all the different annoying sounds from structures. I ended up installing some of those skin mods which conflicting with noise removing mod. I uninstalled them and they would randomly reinstall. I tried erasing synced data to fix but now it worse. So yeah single player maybe,but not multiplayer...

Do yall use AI for your intros or something? This is like the 3rd video that starts with the same intro about "double checking" mods

I recently started replaying Ark Survival Evolved primitive+. It’s great… if you can look past the plastic toy stegosaurus and the lack of an ability to gather beeswax. Just two of the many reasons why I refuse to buy ASA. They left an incredible part of ASE broken, despite numerous people notifying them of these aspects being broken.

I hope this is going to have a longer life than Last Oasis. Launch for that game was so much fun

What you said about not being able to spawn the stuff in is true they actually don't allow you to spawn the BTT items in at all so if you want to use them you HAVE to buy the BTT DLC to spawn them in and use them hell you can't even tame the Cosmo spider without buying the DLC same thing applies to the Pyromane too (Even though you can still spawn the Pyromane without buying it but you can't use it). And Also BTT Chapter 3 is going to have even more P2W stuff like Weapon Traits for Tek weapons (Unsure if it will also effect non Tek weapons) plus the fact you will also be able to build weaponised vehicles and Territory Claiming which is going to be a massive P2W DLC.

From all the others “content creators” you are the one who hates the most. Just stop covering the game then. Stop crying about it. The problem is that you only make money out of this game if you trash talk about it. Go cover something else dude

Don’t personally care. Content is good - it’s improvement. Official PVP is not what drives this game and keeps it playable long term, so they are appealing to the majority market if their player base. I get PvPers can’t stand pay to win, and i do understand that, especially in a game where PVP is the main part of the game, but that’s not the case per say with this game, so it doesn’t bother me or make me feel any way about the content being pay to win. But that’s just my Opinion. Since Opinions are like assholes, we all have one and they all pretty much stink, I’m sure many won’t like my opinion or care for it, just like i don’t give a crap about others feeling different about it either.

I care very little for the dlcs, from a business standpoint they're giving people a good deal. You get the game for the base price of 60 or 70 whatever it is atm and all past dlc maps are now FREE, they're going to need to add some dlc to get any money from it. Safe to assume each side map gets a new creature we pay for while each story map gets an added bobs tall tales which from the latest entry you don't pay for abberations

I struggle with the pay to win content. Especially the Ab content because it is SO GOOD and such fun stuff, it should be part of the release to the whole player base. Want to hold back the skins for a few extra bucks? Sure… but the cosmo and gene gun stuff? That bothers me
