I took the original (or at least Grimm's and Perrault's) story as a story of how innocents- mostly girls and usually children, but can be anyone- are manipulated into either comitting sin or falling victim to it. And the worst part is that Red is being tricked into leaving the path/slipping up, even though she literally knows no better! This reeks of the societally rigged allowing of victim-blaming, pedophilia and rape, and how society in any country echoes this tale. It also tells us to forget the (were)wolves, reminding us that we all know who the real monsters are. We only call them something other than human because it's too horrible and twisted to own up for. But the "(were)wolf" is more than human enough.

Some days ago I dreamed about this animation and well, it was more of a flashback to when I was younger. I decided to look for it and I hadn't found the video for a week. I even drew it to ask my friends if they recognized the animation. I thought it was my imagination and that I would never hear about this video again, but here I am, I found it thanks to a music playlist that I like. It was like, the song started playing out of nowhere and I recognized it, I put the name of the song in the KZbin search engine and it was one of the first options...I just have to say that I have loved this animation since I was a child💕
