Well, first of all, Facebook marketplace sellers are morons, they don't even know how to property make an ad. Second, FB is awful to start with, I have me settings set to show my items within 60kms of me, what's it give me? Items 800kms from me! As for this woman, I have to say I'm with her. Far as I'm concerned, its always the first to arrive with an offer I accept, no holds. OTOH, if you have an agreement to buy it with price agreed to and after terms met, then they ought to hold it. What you expected isn't reasonable. BTW, looked at a woman's Miata, decided to pass on it and she told me her sister is selling her's can come look at it in a couple days. Showed up, loved the car, agreed to let me have it inspected, emailed me later saying she sold it. Was disappointed but that's just the way it goes.

As a technician, a diagnostic check is to check the problem of a vehicle and verify the problem. But I guess in this era of technicians, they are not properly trained and misinform customers. They take a look at vehicles like it's a difficult math problem and then guess the issue. But yes, a refund for that diagnostic from Omaha Mercedes needs to be refunded.👌

Does not sound like a timing chain to me as when it fails om the om642 it initially rattles during cold start for roughly 5 seconds and smooths after but even the sound on your differes from the timing chain rattle. Have a look at this video as the sound seems close to what you're hearing on yours: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2PGqWaJatV-g6Msi=K87ngnDmD2rhMQFh. Check with your dealer the AEM recall for the diesels if that was done as it covers a long list of items for free for 50k miles or 5 years after the AEM recall was performed. This is my second ML with the om642 engine, a W166 so similar to yours, first one was a w164 and I love this engine and it has been reliable but some things cost a bit more as it has a Mercedes stamp😅. Dont get let down just take some time to get it sorted as it is a new car to you and you will definitely enjoy after.

I think the ultimate point of this video is that it is very easy to overload a trailer or vehicle. I have a 9 passenger conversion van that has a cargo capacity of 1300 pounds. If I take a ride with 9 200 pound people I've exceeded the capacity by 500 lbs, and we don't have any luggage.

That's why we got a toy hauler with a 4800 lb. cargo carrying capacity, and we use scales to make sure it's distributed properly. But you're 100% right, most RVers overload their RVs and break things and then blame everyone but themselves.

The GVWR of our motorhome includes a full tank of gas and fresh water. Check the specs to see if the GVWR of your rig includes that too. Best thing is to always take it to CAT scale before heading out and at least once or twice a year, especially if you full-time.

Adam over at Rare Classic Cars on KZbin, always advises to disconnect the battery on 1970's era Ford/Mercury/Lincoln vehicles, when not in use, to prevent the car burning down from what happened to your seat control. Adam has said that the power window and seat controls do wear out and can short out. The power seat control is especially bad as it's got power all the time.

You clearly are ignorant as to what the reality of this problem really is. So do you mean the shady dealers that the RV assembly companies keep referring owners to? Those shady companies? Clearly, you are putting ALL the blame on the RV owners and not really blaming these RV manufacturers at all. I am thick in it with 3500+ members on my Facebook site who are getting jacked around by Grand Design and even Lippert. These RVs have been built like Sh..t and you know it as well as everyone else does. These RVs were poorly designed, engineered, and even more poorly built. RV owners were sold a complete lie and have been getting away with it. It has been a long time since you have been in the RV industry.
@jeffscars2713
@jeffscars2713 2 ай бұрын
First, the way the chatter I have been hearing is ALL manufacturers and how bad they are all made which is not entirely true. As for Grand Design while the appeal to the buyers as they "look" wonderful the ones I have seen however I would not buy one. None of them can be used in a full time setting like 5th Wheels of the past, King of the Road, Carriage, Peterson Industries products and others from the 90s and 2000s. When you have several manufacturers that build components for you and Grand Design assembles them you are going to loose all quality aspects of what you are trying to achieve as a manufacturer. Case in point, look at GM and other auto manufacturers with several of their cars, that pieces were made elsewhere and assembled in one plant, most all failed. Dealers in the RV Industry are going to take direction from the manufacturers most of the time instead of taking care of the customer does this make them shady? Maybe it does or doesn't but in most industries today there is a complete lack of customer service, and on the manufacturering side they are trying to keep the price as low as possible so they can have sales, and when quality is compromised and the manufacturer has to pay out for warranty work and law suits, and settlements, the price goes up on the product, or the company goes out of business and no one wins. I may not be completely informed as to what is going on in the industry, as I have been out of it for over 20 years, but in some cases it is on the end user as to the abuse of the 5th wheel, travel trailer etc. If the problem is clearly one manufacturer go after them don't make it sound like it is the entire industry which is the point I'm trying to make.
