I've also worked with homeless kids, and in the recovery field (have an addiction history). You are right about keeping things pent up, where you just dig a deeper hole and get angrier or more depressed.

It is hot like hell today it is 91 Degrees over here it is Summer in the Winter we get cool just a little bit some time 70's and rare time 50 40's but it doesn't happen to much in the Winter Months By Way I'm a Handicap person Been Through a lot in my Life time from not walking Talking nothing to right now Walk with Crutches Drive my own Van goes place alone etc. All this because of all my Operations and the Strong will to get better at everything. What an important point! The economy in the US (and much of Europe) is such that it is very hard for both older people and the young to afford life without a lot of struggle: my friends 18--25 have to live with parents or share an apt with five other people. They cant afford to eat out or buy a car and keep it up. This is very different from when I was a young kid. My father was a kitchen worker and my mom a telephone operator yet they were able to buy a house in their mid-20s 😮 I sure couldnt do that! So I dont think pretending everyone can be rich is a great message, even if youre smart and work hard. Thanks again for a great video!

So, I click on today's video and I'm like WTF!! He had such nice hair! He cut it all off?😱 Then I listened and watched and understood... Youre still You. But we want to change and evolve. Or else we wouldnt be here looking for direction. My partner died a couple years ago after a terrible illness. Ive been living alone, and it is too easy to get stuck in my own head. I just decided I need to get back into writing, at least something every day. Doesnt have to be "good", I just need to do it, journal, stories, whatever. And I need to make myself talk to more people. I have a couple of good friends. But Im tired of being alone now. I CAN be more confident, though the more isolated I am the harder it gets to project that confidence. Thanks again Alex, for a thought provoking video.

As a quite emotional person i found music is something that I am far better of without. any songs will completely control my emotions. aswell as this I feel it doesn’t allow us to think and have quite in our brain. Boredom is a necessity to new ideas and thinking. Also for me as a muslim personally there is an islamic perspective that reflects similar thoughts about listening to music brings more harm than good. In this current day and age peace of mind is hard to come by and I think mental quiteness bu doing things like cutting out music is very helpful :)
