Thanks this was very helpful as someone who has a hard time narrowing down what to study. All of the other KZbin vids I’ve watched were never specific enough, they just give general study tips.

I just want you to know that you are not alone with the panic attacks. I had almost the exact same experience this year. It got to where I would almost dread vacation or what would normally be exciting things because I was so worried my anxiety/panic would get the best of me and I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. It can feel so isolating but it has gotten better throughout the year. If you haven't heard of it already, look up the "physiological sigh". Andrew Huberman has a video on it. It is the only breathing technique that has been helpful when I feel the panic coming on. It really works. Hang in there! So glad you are back on KZbin! :)

@@alliew2419 thank you so mcuh for sharing your story!! It’s good to know I’m not alone.. but i 100% get the dreading vacation because that happened to me this year. It’s a fear of panic it’s the worst feeling in the world!!!!! I will defiantly look into the “physiological sigh” thanks so much☺️

I have experienced panic attacks during my Labor and Delivery preceptorship during any c-section that I've attended. I thought Labor and Delivery was my dream job and was super disappointed when I couldn't be hired at my hospital without attending c-sections. I am a postpartum nurse now and love it. It took a long time for my nervous system to calm down after this time of stress and uncertainty though. Thank you for sharing your story and bringing light to others who may be experiencing the same thing! What kind of nursing job are you thinking of trying next?

Hello, Question: Is around 35-40 minutes still a good length for my interview? The recruiters really seemed to like my answers a lot, there were 3 people interviewing me. I'm applying for a nurse RN job at a hospital, this is specifically for a new grad RN training program opportunity. 🙏🙏🙏 After the interview the recruiter asked if i had any questions, and she gave me her buisiness card if i had any questions and said that i should expect a phone call by next week (if im chosen). They really liked my answers to their clinical based questions and nodded their heads and smiled, we laughed a few times too, i wanted to be down-to-earth yet corgial, i was very enthusiatic with them and smiled. I saw them take lots of notes when i replied with my answers, and when i answered certain ones right they said "good 👍". Please let me know your input. 🙏🙏 Also wanted to mentioned, they really liked my resume, and when i submitted my application they called me within 4 hours to schedule an interview. Does this mean anything? I have 8 years of healthcare experience and worked as a CNA and LVN, now applying for an RN role. Also they did say "if you were hired for this role, what would you expect to gain from this position?" And they asked what shifts I would be interested in Day or Night. I said, "im good with either or, im good with what you guys need me for , ive worked AM, PM, and graveyard". I kinda goofed on one question, but hopefully that doesnt make or break me out of all the questions they asked me. They did mention "if you are chosen for this position, what would you expect to gain if you are hired here?" Is that bad or good? 😅 They really liked my answer when i said i want to gain RN experience, become a great nurse leader, develop quick thinking skills, learn more ways to advocate for my patients. I would greatly appreciate your input on the above please. 🙏🙏🙏

We get a verbal warning at 4 call ins and termination at 7. Our policy is so tight and it also goes on a rolling year basis. Our tardies and callings are also combined and same as yours now 0.5 point for each call in

ive watched several of these grwm night shift videos and they all seem to be the same, try having 2 children and full time spouse on an opposite shift and be in charge of cooking and picking kids up. Hardly any responsibilities...It would be cake for me if i was in this position. 3 nights are easy compared to 5-8 hr shifts or 4-10,s plus never having to deal with management (which can be the hardest part of any job).

Says no one who has ever actually worked nights. People think nights are easy. Work 3 nights in a row and tell me how you feel…actually, try even just one or two

That's a terrible policy. Don't they remember when we all got covid and we all had to stay out for 14 days.
@lindsayblalock119710 ай бұрын
I would be sooooo mad at the new policy!! That is absolutely unattainable. People are going to quit, work life balance would suck soooooo bad. Absolutely not. We get 6 call outs. I know our tardies add up to call outs but not sure exactly what the policy is. We don’t get sick time either. We have combined CTO to use for vacay and sick. But also if we call out for a sick child it’s only half of an occurrence.

Austin, if you’re reading this.. please make the bed for your wife. It’s her biggest pet peeve and clearly brings her a great deal of comfort and peace. It only takes a single minute of your time. She does the grocery shopping, meal prepping, lunch-making, house cleaning, and many more tasks on her days off when she could be relaxing or resting for the long work days ahead. She deserves it! 😉
