So glad that you uploaded again!! I also thought about the role of a nurse on the postpartum unit. It does feel like we are unappreciated but I got my first thank you card from a family! Made it feel a bit more worth it. I’ve been thinking of going outpatient at some point.

I've been a nurse for many years and I work on mom baby I can tell you that the unappreciated feeling sort of goes along with the mom baby unit. The family see you as a nurse and it's just your job. You should try pediatrics. I feel like the families appreciate you more because you're there to help their child get better. That's just my opinion
