¿Por qué tiene tan pocas visualizaciones esta joya despues de 14 años? Es maravilloso ver a Allen disfrutar de una entrevista.

It’s great when this interviewer stops talking. Unfortunately he loves to interrupt Woody Allen. Not a good trait.

Good interview. When asked about going to Buenos Aires, Allen kind of shunned the idea by saying that his wife and kids would love that. He swiftly excused himself thereafter and ended the conversation in order to play the clarinet.

Woody's certainly entitled to his opinion but I say that life and the entirety of ''it all'' is not meaningless and that what we do during our lives ultimately does matter. He suggests that ''everyone rich or poor is leading unhappy lives.'' and to that I say not true. Although misery does tend to come hand in hand with poverty. There are people who live with their troubles, their ''burdens'' with grace, charm and a sense of humor. If they seem unhappy to Woody, it's his bent, his perspective, and a reflection of it back on him. "It is hard work, and great art, to make life, not so serious." -John Irving (The Hotel New Hampshire.)

Regarding Match Point, when you put aside the sex part, it is conflict between lust and security (imho).

Axel has this need to impress Allen with his views + knowledge. That detracts from the interview.

It is difficult to believe Mr. Allen when he claims he is not an intellectual and - if he had not had the luck in films - he would be driving a taxi. True, Allen is not an intellectual in the sense of a university scholar who writes in academic journals. But there is no doubt he is a highly erudite person who knows literature and philosophy, having regularly incorporated their themes in his works. The "I''m just an average American Joe" act is likely due to the fact that he hates intellectual pomposity and wishes to distance himself from it - but certainly not from the intelligent pursuit of knowledge.
