Gday, great channel!!...curious about your silver perch. Do your fish actually breed so that its basically a self sustaining constant supply?? or once you have eaten your supply do you need to buy more fingerlings?

Don't lift a pull forward at the same time. I did once and was lucky to be able to stay on enough to reach the clutch before it flipped backwards. The older guys that warned me said "I bet you remember not to do that again😂😂😂

Your tractor certainly hasn’t been a simple purchase. It is allowing you to get some stuff done a bit easier than if you had to do it by hand though.

There's a German KZbinr on The Post Apocalyptic Inventor channel who uses citric acid as a rust remover. Perhaps you can look into that for your jack.

Good day mate we use a come-along a 4 ft 2 in pipe would a 6 inx 6in x 8in block of wood . Put the block up against the post no don't matter if it's wood take a small cable choker to wrap the bottom of the post hook the top of the come along to the post pull the cable to the choker and Jack away But I do like to chain and bracket . Y'all have a great day now
@RobsAquaponicsКүн бұрын
Thanks for that Tim. I might play around with that idea as it would be lighter to carry than the jack in places we can't get the tractor. Cheers mate & hope all's well with you folks.

Heads tractors are still there, I bought my slasher off them a couple of years ago........they should be able to help.

My tractor died, cracked the engine head and had a sump full of cooling water. Had to sell it for parts, mechanic wasn't even sure if a replacement was available. Going to buy something new when I make up my mind as to exactly what I need given the size of our property and the nature of our future operations, mostly orchard. Oh well it was fun to learn on while it lasted, at least I didn't break anything really expensive, but it was still a horrible feeling to have it happen. According to the mechanic the additive we found (smelt) in the cooling water suggests that that the guy who sold it to me knew it already had a problem and it was only a mater of time before it failed completely.

Better to have red bellies their venom is toxic to the browns.we found the more reds the less browns and I know which I prefer to have around lol.Great idea that puller, ours a lot heavier to carry around. Lots of rain out here but at least no flooding. Cows getting fat on all the feed.Take care

If you don’t have a tractor, can use the same tool with a high lift jack (aka tractor jack, 4wd jack, farm jack).
@RobsAquaponicsКүн бұрын
We have a high lift & showed pulling a post with it in a video. 👍 The jack will come in handy in spots we cant get the tractor. Cheers mate & have a top one.

It's got a couple of features that make me think this is an APAC Industries garage jack, but I can't locate a model that matches perfectly. Edit: yep, the ratcheting mechanism looks like it matches when I look at some zoomed images of the "APAC Heavy Duty Car and Truck Jack" (check gumtree)

It looks like KZbin didn't like me trying to sneak a link into a comment. I sent an email to your contact email with a US company that could potentially help you identify the model if it is indeed a Walker jack.

Hi Rob. Hope you are well. Your videos are very informative. Thank you. I have a question regarding your expansion. Why did you turn the tote on its side to cut the expansion growbeds? Is it to get rid of the base plate? And is it not better to rather keep the normal up down configuration of the tote for the extra support that the frame gives?

Hi Rob, There is always something that needs fixed. Metal gears are better than the plastic ones. Book shelf looks good 😀stay well.
@philip15228 күн бұрын
Ahrrrg. Plastic - I hate it. There's two reasons why manufacturers use it. ! It's cheap. 2 They can fleece you for spare parts - so it's cheaper to buy entire starter moter than a replacement drive cog? - unbelievable. Keep going and you'll get there. Nice bookcase.

Hello Rob. I am new to your channel and would be interested to watch the video on the hard prune you did on this tree a few years ago. I looked on your page and could not find it. I would appreciate a link. Great job on this video. I too use a lot of limes and would like to stop buying them from the store. I am in the sunshine state of Florida, USA. ☺

Hi Nancy. This is the video that shows the hard prune & the harvest we got from it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZOrhmSamZ6IeLc I only just edited the title to include "Hard Prune". hanks for pointing that out. I hope you get a great harvest from your tree.
