Thank you for the instruction. I recently had electrician install the wall charger for me. But he didn’t help me to connect it to wifi. I wonder if it is needed to connect to WiFi. I honestly have no idea how to do it
@vg490213 күн бұрын
You don't need to connect it to wifi. I used my TWC for about a month before even connecting it. It just adds automatic firmware updates if there are any, a realtime-ish graph of speed of charging, some additional minor scheduling options, and allows you to add/register/restrict who can use your charger. So if your charger is in a publicly accessible area, it can't just be used by anyone. If you keep your TWC in a garage or private space, most of that doesn't really matter. Most of the scheduling stuff is an overlap of what you can already do through the Tesla app.

@ thank you this is great information. The technician connected the wifi on his Tesla one app and told me everything is up to date. I guess I don’t need to do anything

I saw the fluid dumping in the front.. That was exactly the problem I had on the Model Y. The pressure was enough this pushed the tube out of the fitting. It is funny servicing this car because it is so simplistic;there is only one set of tubes for this.

7:35 - Tips from guys before buying the car: 1. Learn **some** of the facts about the car (even tho every fact he could discern about this car was negative, not to mention the vast majority of facts he don’t know about it - meh, details) 2. Obtain warranty info (even tho the car he bought has none) 3. Know literally nothing about Teslas except for the fact the you know, for sure, that you must have one (get a friend/partner who knows 10% of what they need to know, instead) 4. Make sure there’s someone else’s blood on the door (must have this or walk away) Once you’ve confirmed you’re screwed on all that, make sure your bank account is insufficient to support the inevitable financial drain that you’re about to succumb to. Once you’ve confirmed all that, go ahead and sign the dotted line. Congratulations!! 🤪

Only works on 3/Y. Doesn’t work on my S and X as the charge port doesn’t have clearance for the adapter lock. It came free with my replacement adapter from Amazon since I forgot my original one at a ChargePoint charger so no loss. I think there is a different adapter lock for newer model S/X but not for models prior to 2022. Nonetheless thanks for the info!

Why do you have to lie? You can see the logo turn blue when you pull it, and then you don't pull it again. Once it's blue, you can just remove it because it's unlocked. Why do you have to lie to people?

Final thing to check with these is the LDU in the rear. You can pull a panel and a speed sensor to see if there has been a seal failure. There are fixes that have come out in the last few months, but its a when, not if, failure.

I believe that most women should take a simple automobile educational program to generally familiarize themselves with basic emergency procedures. If the tire deflated within a minute of hitting an obstruction…… how will putting more air into help 😅. By the time they get back into the car the tire will be flat again 🤔.

Problem is they can still stop you from charging by pressing the button. I just tried it on my car and all you need to do is press the button and it stops .
@MiddleAgedTesla7 ай бұрын
If you press the button, it will stop, but they can’t pull it out and so if the car doesn’t restart charging on its own, then you can restart it from your app once you’re notified charging has stopped.

Thanks for posting this. Very helpful. I bought one of these some time ago and installed it just now as we get into the warm weather season. In some ways, it feels like a solution in search of a problem. If it helps keep the car cool during long summer drivers, that's helpful. I like that it folds up easily. The issue with clips coming out of their slots is a bit of a hassle, but not a huge one.

Ok so I got one and it does not work. U can’t pull it out but just like the video they can disengage slightly so the BLUE charging light triggers-charge stopped. This does not do anything other than keeping cable attached to yr car
@MiddleAgedTesla8 ай бұрын
That’s the point, they can’t remove the cable and the car should start charging again after it resets.

you need to STOP ALTOGETHER your BS on accounts login this that to be able to charge my EV. Making people's lives EASIER, NOT HARDER is the ONLY RIGHT WAY and ONLY LONG TERM RIGHT WAY to do business nowadays! worse, I could not login or password problem bullshits, then your smart-ass system makes me MUST SUBMIT my credit card to be able to get the charge plug, that is ANOTHER NUISANCE besides the password login bullshits! Now you scam me that I could not charge my EV battery, yet you still charge my credit card $10! this is waste of my time, but I took my time here to send you this feedback because for God Sake, many people need a good and easy electric vehicle charge stations now that are really few and shortage around here now while people want to buy more electric vehicles..... So, DO NOT THINK YOU ARE DICTATORSHIP OR MONOPOLY on Electric Vehicle charging KINGDOM, you need to respect DEMOCRACY to make any EV Charge station REALLY EASY ACCESSIBLE LIKE GOING INTO A GAS STATION, PAY AND POUR GAS INTO MY CAR........... YOU MUST MAKE THE EV CHARGE STATION AS EASY AS A GAS STATION, that is the CRITICAL MESSAGE!!!! OH MY GOD!!! too frustrated!!!!! 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

I just got the RPM screwless ones specifically because they were shorter. I lowered MYP 1.2inches and they scrape everytime so I need shorter flaps. However the push bolts supplied by them have no girth to them as they simply don't snap/lock in. Was this your experience also with the RPMs? TIA.
