Wow, I kind of knew helicopter were tricky and sensitive to fly, but not like this. And I bet it changes from model to model. You were an excellent student, albeit with prior experience with flying. Really interesting to see an actual lesson. Thanks for the video!

I soloed more than 40 years ago at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. I don't remember how many circuits I did, but I remember I popped up to my first rock-solid hover, and I remember laughing with joy just as she did. Flying is such an amazing feeling of freedom.

cfi talks too much and filming yourself for social media is the absolute last thing a solo student should be doing. He also left the controls attached which could get you killed, especially with all that camera crap and purses you have in the cockpit. Takes literally 10 seconds to remove the dual controls.
