1. It was not a mistake avowed is coming out soon and releasing a trailer for oblivion will only harm it 2. Oblivion is a bethesda game and so they will most definitely 100% save it for the bethesda direct later this year.

First KCD was successful due to it being praised by anti-woke? Wut? That is almost entirely US thing. Most people liked the game becuase it's a cool game. Nobody gives two ducks about some American culture war in Czechia.

@@Elssir-von-Hungry No I wasnt trying to say it was ONLY successful because of that. It would have still been successful regardless because like you said, its a cool game and its GOOD. But as the director even states, that crowd was definitely supportive of the game, and it was supported by a large amount of people (here in the US) because of that. Which is the same crowd mad at the game and the studio currently. But yes, you are right. Apologies for not explaining this correctly in the video.

@strawhatmikey23 nah. No worries. I'm just jumpy lately as those people now try to cancel our culture and game that represents it, because it doesn't fit their worldview. It's just too alien for us. This woke anti-woke thing. For a small hobbit like country with 'live and let live' mentality and almost no religion whatsoever this can get overwhelming. Vavra acts like a fool. And frankly, he is one. Genuis developer and storyteller but an awful individual. But trust me if I say we czechs weren't even aware this whole debacle could be a thing. It was more like, you know what could be cool to explore in the game? What if a black man travelled into the area and locals reacted to him? Same with the 'gay scene'. I can almost guarantee you that once the game is out woke crowd will be furious about the 'woke' aspects of this game. Depicting homosexuality as a crime with harsh punishments and being openly racist towards a black character even getting him executed. But for us, czechs? It's nothing more than 'a fun interaction' to break the monotony of the world. Anyway all is good. We all are tired of the woke agenda being force-fed to us. I get that. Be we need to be careful not the became the same thing we hate. Because this all situation already separated the anti-woke group into hateful extremists and jumpy and annoyed people pissed with it all.

I'm hoping they get the guys making Skyblivion and use their devs and code and give them some cash. I have been waiting for Skyblivion but if Bethesda remasters it that team would have just wasted their time all these years.

I hope I'm right in disagreeing with you. With Skyblivion being a passion project made by people who generally love the series and take pride in their work, I hope that regardless it will still shine through something slopped together and popped out. However I'm basing this on hopeful opinion.

It's safe to assume now the remake is not real. For something as huge as an Oblivion remake, they're not going to surprise release it like the ninja gaiden game. And there are no other scheduled developer directs or announcement events between now and e3. For a game that supposedly was going to release in June, there's absolutely no chance it's announced at e3 to only give weeks or even days of a marketing campaign. At least we still have Skyblivion to look forward to though

I think the Oblivion Remake will be announced in the summer and release on the 20th anniversary of Oblivion. March 20 2006. Two years later TES6 will release for the 10th anniversary of the teaser trailer 😆

If it is it will be with the Bethesda direct as it's you know... A Bethesda game also it would have been fooling to start the hype when avowed is right around the corner they want that to succeed and not divide the potential players between games.

So, what is the established lore of the game? Did you create a character from scratch (i.e. Cyberpunk, Mass Effect) that you could then infuse with whatever character traits (straight, male, white, gay, black, female, etc.) you wanted or did we play as a character that the devs specifically chose for us to tell a certain narrative and context (Henry, the son of a blacksmith, white, hetero, etc.)? The thing that's got people all riled up is not some minor cut scene or "option" of player choice. It is the fact that the devs went to extraordinary lengths to insist that Henry is NOT YOU in KCD1 to now completely flip that take and insist that he IS YOU. Why would they do that? Seriously. Ask yourself, what has changed about Warhorse since the development of the last game? Do you retards who are being dismissive about this even know who owns Embracer???

Honestly, I can't even believe we didn't see anything on ES6, or the Oblivion remake. I personally wasn't a fan of the show, but just because I think it wasn't good? Doesn't mean it wasn't good lol. I just wanted to see specific games, and was let down. I'm sure thousands of others liked what was shown, and that's 100% okay lol.

I think it's mainly the work of trolls and then KZbinrs who are using this drama to increase viewership and pretend they are doing the world some kind of service. I'm 41 years old, I still like to play games, and I'm honestly too old to deal with this kind of bullshit. I think that when this all settles down, most of the people who are offended and disgusted right now will finally accept that KCD/Warhorse isn't pushing any agenda and that we'll all eventually agree that the game is great.

You mentioned Bethesda being busy and not having the time for a ''remake''. Well, Bethesda is not doing it, Virtuos Games is! BECAUSE Bethesda was too busy. They contracted it out to be done by another company. It will be a full blown remake from the ground up in Unreal 5. People on the inside who have actually worked on it have said so. It's been in the making now for well over 5yrs or longer. They decided to go with a remake because after seeing how much work is involved in just remastering it, with the size of the world, they decided it would make more sense to make it more worth their time and just remake it. I cannot tell you how I know all this for certain, don't wanna get people I know canned.

Boils down to adult man children crying about one option in a game all about choice, just because they don't like the choice. At least that seems the case for everyone that disagreed with my comments on other videos. Having the option seems to invalidate their choices in the game to them. Perfectly encapsulated by the many comments "why is Henry gay now?". He's not, but you can choose that for him. People act like it's forced on them. "Oh no the rpg about making choices is giving people who want it the option to have a gay romance, now I can't enjoy the game anymore". Not to mention the fact that this all started based on some ridiculous rumor talking specifically about "unskippable gay sex scenes in the game", which was stupid on its face. I'm very disappointed to see so many unhinged reactions to such a non issue. It shows that the anti woke crowd are just as much snowflakes as the identity politics pushing weirdos, and are just as easily offended. Glad to see there are still people that have reasonable responses. In any case, good or bad we still have to see when the game is out. Imagine having such strong opinions on a game that's not even out yet. What a sad state of affairs about such a non issue.

The answer is "Yes, it is too difficult". Or at least it is for anyone who cannot see all that well. Can't really dodge or block when you are unable to tell what exactly the boss is doing or notice that small projectile before it connects. By the time I can tell what the boss is up to I have already taken the hit and the game does not allow for a "heal through the pain" or "heavy tank" playstyle. Here's hoping they add an easier mode of play or that some other ARPG releases the does not consider constantly dodging and/or kiting to be exciting gameplay.

I Definitely agree that a lot of the drama caused many people to stay away from the game. I also enjoyed a LOT of what the game had to offer, even reviewed and gave it a good score on this channel despite the flaws I mentioned in the video. It had a TON of content, beautiful scenery, really engaging combat with a good progression system, and more. I had so much fun killing all of the gate bosses and getting the unique pieces of gear.

@@strawhatmikey23 I don't mean to come off as a dick, but probably good to be careful on reporting on rumors in the future; not just for accuracy, I think clickbaity titles piss people off (lose retention) than bring them in. I'm not really sure any of the gaming rumors I've heard that aren't validated personally via an industry insider are at all trustworthy, Kotaku just says whatever comes up in the crystal ball.

I wish i could like this game. The story looks good and graphics got an upgrade i wish the 1st had..but game play is just too tedious for me to like. I really need some games to play and i wish i could force myself to be inlove with this game like everyone else.
