I became a fan of Gracie Gold immediately after I first saw her skate at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. I was an instant fan. Unfortunately, I stopped watching figure skating almost directly after, and I didn't rediscover Gold until this year during the Beijing Olympics. I learned of her story of intense trials and tribulations, and had no idea she went through so much physical and mental pain and trauma. It was heartbreaking to find out that such a beautiful, kind, lively soul was nearly taken away. She went through so much, yet she vowed to make a comeback, and the most inspiring thing is that she never, ever gave up her fight. Now, in 2022, here she stands, tall and mighty in Winter Wonderland like the ice queen she always has been. She will always been a champion to me. The woman who single-handedly made me a fan of figure skating. God bless you Gracie Gold.

I competed Novice back in the day and was hard pressed to complete a clean program in practice let alone in competition of any kind. A joy to watch Gracie nailing it and smiling like a boss!

She reminds me of Grace Kelly. She has such beautiful artistry in her skating. This is the Gracie I will always remember.

Gracie, I hope you see my post. I just watched your 2014 sp and 2016 fs, both at US Nationals. I can't even put into words the magic and wonder your performances inspired in me. Your artistry and technical perfection left me gasping. YOU WERE MEANT TO SKATE !! I am a total skating fan/freak, who has followed all the incredible achievements of the russian ladies these last three years. But for artistry and the perfect line and flow of motion, there are just two: you and Kamila -- and the two of you are such different skaters ! BEST OF LUCK in US Nationals over the next few days. I hope you can enjoy the experience to the fullest !

It's a shame she is in the wrong Era when her artistic style of skating was celebrated. To compete with the world and get on the podium it's all about how many jumps and triples you can do and soon quads for women! She was one generation ahead had she been in the 90s or early 00s she would of won more medals!

Good for her! We are so proud of her improvement over the last several months and win or lose, she is already a winner for making it this far. It had to be hard for her and she has persevered so much already. She looks healthier and seems happier. She has impressed us so much.
