This is the best short program I’ve seen from a US lady all year. I feel it’s an homage to Michelle, who let Gracie know it’s ok to be at your worst, and supported her through it. Gracie looks incredible and happy. I’m thrilled.

Gracie, I hope you see my post. I just watched your 2014 sp and 2016 fs, both at US Nationals. I can't even put into words the magic and wonder your performances inspired in me. Your artistry and technical perfection left me gasping. YOU WERE MEANT TO SKATE !! I am a total skating fan/freak, who has followed all the incredible achievements of the russian ladies these last three years. But for artistry and the perfect line and flow of motion, there are just two: you and Kamila -- and the two of you are such different skaters ! BEST OF LUCK in US Nationals over the next few days. I became a fan of Gracie Gold immediately after I first saw her skate at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. I was an instant fan. Unfortunately, I stopped watching figure skating almost directly after, and I didn't rediscover Gold until this year during the Beijing Olympics. I learned of her story of intense trials and tribulations, and had no idea she went through so much physical and mental pain and trauma. It was heartbreaking to find out that such a beautiful, kind, lively soul was nearly taken away. She went through so much, yet she vowed to make a comeback, and the most inspiring thing is that she never, ever gave up her fight. Now, in 2022, here she stands, tall and mighty in Winter Wonderland like the ice queen she always has been. She will always been a champion to me. The woman who single-handedly made me a fan of figure skating. God bless you Gracie Gold.

Well she did amazing here from what we have seen over the last few years. She should be so happy and proud. But let's get real she doe snot have the speed, amplitude, power on her jumps as before and she may not have the body of work or international score to even go to the olympics I am not sure if she has skated enough internationally recently to get the minimums. Does she have another international event? Wouldn't it be sweet if she and Gabby Daleman go to the olympics after all they ahve been through.
