I am not sure it really matters the size of the wheel. I had 2 sizes also and used both the small and larger one with same result. Whatever feels more comfortable to you is the one I would go for. Thank you for watching.

I use 22 gauge wire usually. You can use any you like. It is something everyone finds their comfort gauge. Play around with 20 to 24 gauge and see what works best for you.

@marinasoto5015 it was a relaxing hike. Nothing strenuous. I enjoyed my time on trail. It was fairly warm when I was there. Can't recall when but probably January. Ice and snow were melting by the time I got there. Angels Landing still had ice but all in all it is a beautiful experience.

What you see in this video is in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, but that is Fifty Mile Mesa in the background. The Grand Staircase actually refers to Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce. The top layer of rock at the Grand Canyon is the bottom layer at Zion, and the top layer at Zion is the bottom layer at Bryce.

Hello Mike. A man has gone missing in this area. I'm wondering if maybe you could help rescue crews to find this cave.
@mikeevans-nomadicaspiratio36723 ай бұрын
@selfsufficientmama I am not in the area and vaguely recall exactly where it is. All I know is if you are traveling up to Goblin Valley State Park, the road up, it is not too far off on the right hand side up in the rocky areas. Best bet to find it is to view the horizon from the road and look for a shadowed area and there is a trail from the road but is easy to miss.

Coulda been. Could been anything. I will say, what I didnt state in the video....at the end I said the night was uneventful. I lied. I was falling asleep or just fallen asleep when I felt a weight push down on the back of my van. Whatwver did it, when it released, my can bounced like it was a lot of weight. I couldnt imagine it being smaller than a pretty descent size black bear. There were not tracks in the mud outside my van next morning. So I never had a clue what it was. Maybe bigfoot.

Thank you for watching. Tree wire art, there really is no right or wrong way to do it. It is trial and error as you develop the skills. When it comes to branch work, I just do what feels right. I use more in bundles on the bottom branches and less towards the top. My best advice is to just play with it. Make several. Get a feel for what works best for you. You will find your look.

How many do you put in each branch. Mine is wonky 😊

Food smell doesn't go away for a while lol. Outside has the wind. It can be hit or miss with cooking but while traveling I do alot of skillet cookin.

@mikeevans-nomadicaspiratio3672 Жыл бұрын
If you want the full experience, I would plan an all day. The trail start to finish, I think, is 11 miles. I have never gone all the way out to the homestead at end. To the dino tracks and back, I probably spend about 6 or 7 hours. But I do alot of off shoot trails, stop and explore around, look at rock facings for petroglyphs and caves. This trip I spent a couple extra miles following offshoot trails. 6 or 7 hours.

Hi Mike! What roads did you take to get to Withers Canyon TH? I'm planning to venture out there this fall, and have heard dreadful reports about the road conditions, but judging from your video, it doesn't look too bad.
@mikeevans-nomadicaspiratio3672 Жыл бұрын
I do not recall road names. I just gps to picketwire trailhead or withers canyon and it gets you there. The roads, I would guess, are considered dreadful because about a mile or 2 it is a washboard type road. Let a bit of air out of tires if you have a way to inflate them. Helps with it. Me, I just get my teeth and take it slow. Otherwise it is fairly straight and flat. Not bad gettin In and a worthy hike.
