What an amazing historical documentary account. Yes the ELF (Eritrean Liberation Front) was an organization that stands for freedom and Liberation of the whole Eritrean people. The content of this video assures the freedom fighters just cause and their true identity.

Masterful story telling. It is such a shame that independence has not brought the freedom that people hoped. I remember with great pleasure Ted Sullinger's class.

A case in point that Eritreans "Will not give what's ours and will not take what's not ours". Still seeking justice.

Tell me more about your parents Ketch. When/where and why did they build her? Did your family live aboard awhile or take any longer voyages? What were your parents original dreams for her? I built several sailboats as a young man in the 1960s. Sgt. Gary

My family knew your family and Thora back in the early 1960's. I have some photos of he Navesink at the SRYC with Thora in them.

Tom would you be available to speak? Keen to hear your experience
Entay umo kiabis. You the ELF couldn't succeed in securing a united leadership and once EPLF united with their Christian brethren the TLF and hit you hard you crossed the border to the Sudan never to reorganize again. That's a history both ELF and EPLF should be ashamed of. EPLF uniting with TLF on the basis of religion was a national betrayal and ELF puting leadership power aspirations before a national cause was selfishness and their inability to reorganize under a united leadership and fight back is an excellent example of a terrible failure. This statement is going to be disturbing to both EPLF and ELF as well as Eritrean Christian and Muslims but it's historical fact and truth should be told.
