This is my first essay at minimalism, in a style reminiscent of the music of Philip Glass or John Adams, scored for piano & cello. As the title Arpeggione suggests, the work consists of a rolling series of arpeggios (expanded chords) in the left hand, with a minimal melodic line on the right hand, mirrored on the cello. The subtitle Reflections bespeaks the introspective nature of the piece.
