Hey hi Sonali I have one issue I am scaling rig in maya character 5 size and I am animate that character and importing in unreal but animation is scale 1 size ? And need to be 5 size scale animation any solution?

doesn't work in unreal 5.3. The media texture displays a black image instead of the video.

Hey, I was working wid maya for years and then started mobu . As u said I felt like its a primitive tech .It’s too buggy but interesting to clean some mo cap data..✌️

Hi, I wanna pose a character I have created, I have rigged the character. since the character has a mechanical arm I had to use constraints instead of skinning for that arm and I have some other meshes that has constraints in it. When I try to import the character to unreal only the skinned parts are visible but not the constrain part. It would be awesome if you can help figure out the issue, thank you.

i guess the reason you didnt need the rotion is cuz it was exported as up axis z only from maya there is that option in game exporter which lets us select the up axis btw great tutorial just what i was looking for

didi i was making an acting shot.yesterday i was working on it then when i clicked save(offcourse i did multiple saves before that save ) loadshedding occured. now after openning that scene i dont see the video,audio,character reference,neither i see the animations.i had saved the scene name as 1 .How can this happen.please answer.😭😭😭

So functional and smart that when you counter a bug where maya didn't load some the referenced animation, this lead to lose all the keyframes of some part of the, this is fixable but is tricky

One question, I noticed you export all the time by selecting the bones Hierarchy. As a Maya animator, I never added keys to the bones, but to external curves that controls the bones (because I was taught this way). Is there a way to transfer the animation keyframes to the bones or do I have to animate the bones instead of the curves? Thanks in advance!

You just need to bake all the animations on the control curves to the bones before exporting
