Hello, thank you for the great information! Would you happen to know which model is the closest to Encore or Akoya? Appreciated❤
@DancewithmaryNYC6 күн бұрын
CL60 Crescenda is made on the same last as the Encore. Akoya is made in Thailand by a different manufacturer not associated with R-Class.

That is tough when you are between widths and lengths. You can get quite a bit of stretch, so keep trolly with the stretching.

One other thing, double check to make sure the shoes are not too small/short in the length. The best test is a deep plié in second position and then lunge side to side. If your toes ands/or heel are cramped, that means the shoes are too small/short. Shoes that are too short in the length will pop off your heels when you rise en pointe.

Are your shoes brand new with hard shanks? I would also check to make sure your elastic is snug.

thank you so much! i’m trying this tomorrow! it think i may have cut my drawstring to short and i can’t fully remove it or it will be too big. any tips?
@DancewithmaryNYC3 ай бұрын
@__sophers__ It is possible to restring a drawstring or add a new one. You could try pinning the drawstring in place with a safety pin while you make the size adjustments.

I’m going to try this method. My heels keep slipping off when in demipointe for some reason wearing streampointes
@DancewithmaryNYC4 ай бұрын
Sometimes, it has to do with your heel shape; sometimes it is the hardness of the shank; it can also be an issue with slippery tights. Let me know if the video helps🙂

As a dancer with low profile but flexible feet, do you think this is a good investment, my feet are just not archy but I have hyper extended legs so something looks off when I dance. I’ve tried stretching and improving relève but nothing works for me. Do you think these would look more realistic on less beautiful feet?

Thank you mary! I have a pair of capezio with elastic drawstring and the shank lenght is ok, but the heel (exactly where the drawstring is ) is killing me. No chance to cut the upper heels?

Try stretching it with water or rubbing alcohol first. See if you can get the fabric to stretch.

@DancewithmaryNYC6 ай бұрын
If you want to get creative, you can cut it and then restitch it or insert extra elastic and stitch that in. Just be careful if your drawstrings are elastic, be careful to only cut the binding and not the actual drawstring.
