Mick and Sally, love your videos. Just one suggestion, can you include time of year.
@justcruisinwithmicksally837Күн бұрын
This trip was January 2022. I do understand the frustration that was being caused by not mentioning when we filmed a video. For this reason we have included when the filming was done and entered a date showing this in each video description at the bottom underneath each video. This has been done now since February 2024 which was the start of our Tasmania trip.

Your videos are soooo f@cking boring. You just dribble crap about where you got fuel and other completely pointless facts. "I had a sh!t at the road house and used 8 pieces of toilet paper..."

Port Germein just north of Port Pirie would have a longer distance to walk to the low tide water mark than Parham has. Having a good hard beach surface to walk out on makes it not so bad🙂

I am so glad some there are still plenty of decent Australians around who get the flag out & celebrate the day!! I was going to hang mine on the front window until I realised it is far to big for me to put up there. So I am going to have to find a metre long one instead. Folded up it looked so small until I started opening it up & it kept getting larger & larger, so I don't know what my cousin was thinking when he sent it to me! Such a shame to have to shorten your stay, but keeping cool is very important in small areas. We used to have an army tent when I was a kid & boy it used to get hot!! So it was great when Dad finally added a 12 x 12 white canvas tent with green roof so that we could put up the sides if needed & it became our kitchen & living area.

You can hit up your local MP. for a free Australian flag just so long as their budget can still allow it for the current financial year.

You spend all this money on it and missed the most important mod that is a must with all colorados. Where is the transmission cooler?!!! Next would be an intercooler upgrade and tune for towing. Also those catch cans are rubbish, they don’t have a proper filter element inside of them.
@justcruisinwithmicksally8374 күн бұрын
As soon as the vehicle came out of warranty it had a trans cooler fitted, It must have missed it on the video. You are correct, very important item to have to protect the trans from over heating when under load. Each to their own with intercooler upgrades and engine tunes, something that we are not interested in. The Colorado was only ever used for towing and never caught anything in the catch can, in our opinion we gained nothing by having one fitted.

Hi Mick & Sally; For years my wife and I have a desire to go to Australia, use a Road Train for the experience from Adelaide, to somewhere, undecided in Northern Territory, then make our way around for a week or two, and then find an opportunity back to Adelaide, What is possibility; Cedric and Nettie
@justcruisinwithmicksally8375 күн бұрын
I am not sure what you mean by "use a road train". There would be very limited availability of any road train use of any kind here in Australia. Good luck with your travels.

@justcruisinwithmicksally8377 күн бұрын
As long as the CASSA rules are followed it can be flown. There are a lot of things that some people do not like that others think are great, drones are one of those things.

Hi Mick and Sally. After watching your videos on the Flinders Ranges, it has inspired us to visit SA this year. We'll be down in the Barossa in early May and are looking to visit the Flinders Ranges and also the peninsulas. This is our first long distance trip. Do you think we need to book caravan parks ahead of time at that time of the year? We love your informative content and great photography.
@justcruisinwithmicksally83715 күн бұрын
Most parts of SA are easily traveled without booking ahead unless you travel in school holiday times. If in doubt ring ahead and ask the Caravan Park if you need to make a forward booking, most will give you an honest answer. We don't like booking ahead as it fixes us to be there sometimes ahead of when we would have normally arrived. enjoy your trip to SA🙂

Some nazi scumbags want to start a colony of white people only, they want white women to start having white babies, as many as they can, can't believe this is on the front page of today's Advertiser, what the hell is going on, is Australia in a Trump mood or something, it's pathetic.
@louisebrislane660716 күн бұрын
I was rather surprised that they didn't have any stairways down to the beach on that new boardwalk! Hearing the bird noises at the end of the video reminded me of our early morning wake up calls by the yellow sulfur crested cockatoos we have calling in on us just after daybreak at the present time. They are noisy enough to wake the dead!! I would have liked to join you so that I could walk along the water's edge in my bare tootsies! I don't particularly like swimming but I do enjoy walking along the waters edge. 🥰
@justcruisinwithmicksally83715 күн бұрын
Perhaps as they increase the length of the boardwalk, they may include some stairs to access the beach. We too are more into walking on the beach rather than swimming at it🙂

All the cars at Cape Jervis might belong to cruise ship passengers traveling via the KI ferry to Penneshaw. They disembark at Penneshaw, board the cruise ship, and repeat the process upon return.

G,day Mick, Regards the cars at Cape Jervis on the day, if it was a Sunday , there is the Penneshaw Markets day during the summer months . Sealink provide cheap fares for walk on passengers to spend the day there . Good value for a day trip if you are in the area. Have been a longtime follower of your caravanning videos and enjoy them very much. Especially loved your recent Tassie trip with lots of info in it. Enjoy your retirement mate!
