Im pretty sure they're just playing the origenal album version. I would have liked to hear him actually play his parts isolated in an aged style or classical acustic. Wes is always getting done dirty in these interviews.

My favorite Gary moment... Another Lesson in Violence tour 1997, I'm sitting on the stairs next to the stage at the Whisky in LA, Gary comes down the stairs with his guitar right before they're about to go on and he's kinda warming up and he looks at me and says what do you wanna hear? and like a total smart ass I say "30 seconds!" he smiles and says "how bout I give you 2 seconds motherfucker?" and plays 2 seconds of the song, laughs, and then walks on stage. As a kid growing up idolizing Gary, that was the coolest fucking moment for me. Gary is hands down one of the nicest dudes in the industry.

The clean/edge of breakup tones are great. The dirtier tones weren't my thing personally. I'd love to see better clean amp options added and better pedal options. Especially in the post fx section.

To go from getting all your pedals soaked in water to shortly after get them melted by fire is the worst luck ever.

YES !! More great dynamic amps please. We've seen Two Rock recently from other vendor, along the lines of that. TR Traditional Clean or Joey Landreth signature (much better). Amplified Nation amps is a total winner. Matchless Laurel Canyon is another favorite.

@matthewfreeman334 күн бұрын
He didn't even really use that amp. His randall would be better. While we're at it where's the Mesa MK amps?
@Francisco17Berrios4 күн бұрын
@matthewfreeman33 There's a new warhead, and based on what I think, it's just the gain stages of the mxr+furman+rg100es in a op amp configuration to get that gain (like a vh140 amp)
@montofrekasi45414 күн бұрын
@@matthewfreeman33 Agreed. Not just Mesa Mark series, it'd be also nice to see Lone Star Special, California Tweed, Fillmore 50 in STL world
@rendyandrian71494 күн бұрын
@@matthewfreeman33 Since there are only three amp sim companies that fully model mark series amp, I doubt STL will make one. There must be something that makes it difficult.
