The new module on Ali express I bought 9/2024 is programmable....disconnect harness from button then plug module in between harness and button that's it. Gives you option to program 3 modes. 1 Always off at start, push to enable/ 2 remembers last pressed selection even if you restart the car/ 3 back to factory. I press 3 times fast for program mode. then press 2 times for option 1 or 3 times for option 2 or 4 times for option 3. Worked on my 2020 Tiguan and you just need to get to the button plug on the right of the shifter. Now i don't cuss at red lights cause it wont shut off. I paid like 9 bucks waited a couple weeks 1000 percent worth it. Make sure you choose the right make as they have one for all vw's passat, atlas, golf etc, even the old Tiguan 2016. FYI if you just disconnect the module from the battery yes it disables start stop but you lose smart charging. These cars have a variable charging system between 13.3 and 14.5 It operates low charge rate most of the time to extend the life of the battery (compensate for all the extra starts). But will turn up to 14.5 if it senses the battery drained. Truly over engineered 🤷‍♂Well if you leave module on the battery, the battery "should" last even longer.

@DadWagon with camber correction, will a wheel alignment be needed? I also read somewhere that the MQB platform doesnt not have camber adjustability. Having an alignment done would mean using cam bolts and ither hardware. Which, to me, is not ideal. Please advise. Thank you for this detailed video. Did you get any moaning/creaking from the strut bearing after install? I did B6 DCC, Eurosport inserts, and APR Roll control springs. Everything was torqued to spec with the suspension loaded. Same with the strut nut. No impact gun. I used a shock strut tool. Very frustrating.

I got a replacement set of solenoids from eBay and noticed: A. theyre same size (I some other videos where the 'new and improved' versions were smaller). B. No paperwork came with so Im gonna try and copy what YOU did - Just look so find similarities in new to old. I hope that does the trick. Come back later to report my findings. 😊

Damn. Already have an APR ECU + TCU tune ($1800+ CAD) and was going to buy this device just to tune octane up and down at will. It's $129 USD + $69 USD shipping (to Canada) + Sales Tax. Totalling $229 USD = $315 CAD! No thanks! Their shipping cost to the Greater Toronto Area is atrocious lol.

Do you have any info on the stock exhaust piping diameter that goes to the rear muffler and muffler tips? I'm doing a project an I've looked everywhere an can't find anything even with measuring already. Some say 2" or 2.25 or 2.5" or even 2.1" I'm not sure when I measured it looks like 2" I haven't cut it yet to be for sure an I don't want to unless I figure out that diameter so I can go ahead an purchase things, Let me thanks brother

I also have the IE v2 intake but with the lid. I live in Florida where it rains really hard. Yesterday I drove home though a huge storm (mini hurricane). It was so bad that I cousln't see a thing. I got home and checked the IE V2 intake and there was a very little water in the intake. It looks like it drained through the holes like it should. The filter did have some water droplets on it but nothing crazy. the engine and the battery were dry.

If anyone is watching this trying to fix the overheating issue: There’s an inline thermostat coming from your transmission oil cooler. Find it and throw it in the trash! They all get stuck shut or defective in someway. You’re welcome.
