It’s sad that Peter and Ace could have sunk Paul and Gene if they had the right representation. Think about where KISS was in 95. They were aging has beens barely hanging on with 2 imposters. The 4 original members is what the people wanted. Gene threatened to fire Ace and Peter calling them employees. If they were smart and had management they could have said: “Go ahead and fire me you fat Fu*k and let’s see how 1996 tour goes. Have your press conference with Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer in makeup onboard the USS Intrepid. Show up at the Grammys with imposters. See if you can sell out Tiger Stadium in 96. Your move fat ass!” To pay them as employees and not allow them on psycho Circus was a slap in the face. The reunion tour could have been a blank check. Paul and Gene grabbing every penny from all the touring. Ace and Peter could have put KISS in a hole and buried them in 98.

Kids was super cool cause they were all so fuckin different. They each were smart enough to know that as a unit the each kinda killed it. Like everyone though, Ace Frehley is the best. It's funny Peter's last tour with kiss was the last tour I saw from kiss. After that I did not consider it kiss anymore.

I know he said at the beginning that this book is nothing but the truth but it's a little hard to trust that when he said they played Deuce on TV for Dick Clark, which they didn't. They played Nothin' to Lose. And then also he said She was on the 2nd KISS album, which it wasn't. It was on the 3rd.

First thing I noticed was the lack of shuffle on the drums. Say what you want about Peter Criss’s drum skills, but he certainly knew how to play funky and with a groove.

Both are good. But Vinnie just didn't fit in with KISSs basic rock and roll style. Vinnie needed to find a band with talent maybe similar to YES or Gary Wright. Vinnies style would compliment songs like Dream Weaver.

The problem is Peter... that you ARE a complainer. There are countless videos of you moaning and complaining. You've pissed and moaned for years. And you could barely play in 1996. A band is only as good as its drummer, and they struggled with you up there. No stamina, bad tempo, weak hitting, you really shot yourself in the foot here. Yeah, it sucks with Tommy and Eric but you didn't give them much choice. To sit there and say "I'm insulted to be told I can't cut it". But you can't.

Peter will be a one of a kind no doubt but for me even watching symphony was hard Peter was stiff as a poker a 2 yr run from re union make up was enough tbh but i didnt need to see Tommy and Eric in make up but wayyyyy too much money involved and yes Eric Singer was a way better rock drummer Peter was Brilliant up to bout 77 - 78
