Just picked up the remasters and lis 2 the complete season for 30 on the steam sale 😅 I’ve only played all the games 100000 times on ps4 but never got around to getting the remasters but for 30 bucks I got 30 games so why not

Personally i’m a huge fan of lis 2 and prefer it a bit more than the first. Now not to say the first was bad i absolutely loved it, but it never really pulled me in the lis2 did. I would always pop in here and there while lis was coming out, but never felt to strongly connected to it and and because of that i never got into the second game until 3 years after it first came out and playing through it i was so drawn in by sean and Daniels relationships with me being an older brother and, just how much i had in common with sean compared to max, from interest to personality, and how i felt like the story had more this just one focus of political racism, i always felt like the story was fully about injustice, brotherhood/family and coming of age as a person of color and because of it having so many focus alot of people only see it through one out of the three making it feel more incomplete then it actually is. To end this off i’m not trying to say lis2 is perfect in anyway but why i personally love it more than any of the other games

So personally if your missing a story then the game is only half a game there is only 2 exception sports games (that I’ll never play) or fighting games, they are the only 2 that are allowed to have one paragraph story’s heck both of them can get away with one word story’s “”tournament”” everything else is going to need at least a page (a4) of single line text (as were mainly using computers nowadays font size 10 to 12) and in almost every case the better the story the better the game.

I have played Dementium 1 actually... I never got far, got the disk from a buddy who gave me all his old games. It crashed sometimes at certain doors and got lost kinda at a point, but.. was fun.

The Wii didn't sell so well just because it is Nintendo, as Nintendo were actually in a huge slump at that time and could have potentially gone the way of Sega. The Wii sold so well because it succeeded at being what the 3DO and CDI tried to be years before - a multimedia entertainment device to include amongst ones entertainment system. Non gamers bought them for the novelty and low barrier to entry of the motion controls, causing them to sell like hotcakes to a significantly larger market. It was a fluke.
