I'm interested in learning to tattoo, so I haven't actually done anything myself, but I watched a video of a professional who did say that seeing the individual needle lines on fake skin is normal - I know nothing about color ink, but I wonder how much different it looks on fake skin compared to real skin, with the patchiness and everything... I love your line work, by the way! It's so smooth and it looks like you work really steadily!

You are doing Great Few Tips to consider the tattoo machine you are using will struggle pushing the needle especially if its bigger than 7RL probably you'll get by if you are using long taper adjust your voltage according to your hand speed but stay away from high voltage on 3RL , 5RL as you will cut the skin and that will result in scarring take your time and look for consistency in your lines by adjusting your hand speed to voltage -3RL , 5RL go between 5.5V to 7.5V (remember to adjust hand speed ) -11RM to 22RM run your machine between 6V to 8V hope this helps ... Best of Luck on your Journey

One other consonant that might be confusing for some people is the 'X.' The 'X' usually make an 'Sh' sound. I'll probably talk more about this in a future video when I talk about famous Chinese names 👀 Let me know if there are any other confusing things about Pinyin that I didn't mention in this video!

Good job for your first tat. I bought my 75$ amazon tattoo machine on Amazon end of May and started obsessing right away I returned the machine and got a Mast Flip 2 wireless, bought everything Dynamic ink, green soap, electrum and stencil stuff, good quality fake skins, 4 pack of 50 needles from 3rl to 15 mags, bugpins, etc... I bought a stencil printer and that changed everything! I have done 100+ tattoos on fake skins, 5 on my skin, 3 on friends who asked for it (I suggested them not to do it and I didn't want to do it but they wanted it anyway so I did it and they turned out great) ... Now i'm working with human realism portraits, lions and tigers portrait, perfecting the perfect rose and I practice on fake skin each and every day. I skipped 3 or 5 days since I got the machine I just love it. I pack as much as I can on a page, then print it. I then put it thrue the stencil printer and get as much printed as I can so I don't waste stencil printing paper. I put stencils on fake skin for the next days to dry so I always have practice skin ready to go with dry stencils. My right leg I do piece by piece it's a complete geometric/mandala from ankle to the top top and soon i'll do a portrait on my skin since i'm getting more confortable with more technical tattoos, gray wash, the right needles for the right spot, etc. Practice is the name of the game I suck at drawing, but I love tattooing. Keep up the good work and post more! A++

I’m beginner too 1.i use other type of stick for stencils hairdryer do the job after that spray it with alcohol and it’s staying visible lines or instead of hairdryer i wait 45-60 mins and alcohol again. 2.For cleaning the skin i use baby oil while tattooing its clear very nice and is cheap.. vaseline or other A&D doesn’t clean as well fake skin i use them only on my hand to glide better. 3.if your stencil doesn’t go away after you finish your design try soak it in bleach from 12 to 48 hours most of the time will disappear. 4.Always try to use gloves and sanitize your stuff when tattooing it’s a nice habit to have for future. 5.make design with both lines and shading that way you don’t advance only in lining. I hope this helps wish you best of luck ✌️

If you're wanting to take it serious and become a tattoo artist and don't want to Apprentice for a couple years or you're moving around a lot. I definitely recommend online tattooing classes a lot of programs are 3 to 6 months and they teach you everything you need to know that you would learn in a 3-year Apprentice. all the fundamentals linework shading different techniques all the different types of cartridges for what you're wanting to do teaches you about germ pathogens and Sanitation. I would check out tattooing 101 art accelerator program. Very affordable compared to other tattooing programs hope that helps.

Use pig skin it’s the nearest you get to real skin from butchers and it’s pence to buy but be warned it can sometimes be a little smelly lol But it gives that real touch
@jeaniejean82005 ай бұрын
Trueskin from Amazon is great , one to try, closest tohuman skin in my opinion, and you can use both sides... Also try pressing paper towel on your fresh stencil to pick up extra ink, it dries fas. I do it 2-3 times until it stops picking up more. Speed stick works better than other stencil solutions. Daniel Yuck on you tube shows a great process for getting stencils on fake skin. Doing the blotting, mine dries in around 3 hrs

As a tattooer just 5 years in the industry it’s definitely a plus to get a apprenticeship under a tattooer you really like and that have a name in the industry since the industry is super gatekeepe’y, in my opinion it’s an art form and you don’t have to do what anyone tells you, but if you go into this without a mentorship it always going to work against you, it’s going to be a lot harder to get into a respectable shop and attend tattoo conventions and so on. But keep on drawing, and learn the hygiene part and tattoo your leg, you learn a whole lot more by tattooing yourself then the fake skin, needle depth, voltage, machine angel, pulling/pushing lines and when it heals you can get a better idea of what actually works in skin vs what doesn’t.
@imonawatchlist5 ай бұрын
I’ve been considering getting an apprenticeship but I move so often🙃 I’ll look more into it. I’ll definitely start focusing on hygiene stuff soon. Thanks so much.

@@imonawatchlist ofc no problem, and a tip for smaller lines, hang the needle a bit more out, lower the voltage and use your pinky finger for some more stability and drag/pull with your arm and not just your wrist. A important thing in tattooing is not going to deep in the skin but also not to light, by tattooing yourself u get a feel for the vibration in the skin and machine as you stretch the skin and pull a line. And no human body part is flat so I would suggest to get a 1L cola bottle or something similar and laying the second skin over and fastening it with some tape to imitate the roundness of a arm or leg, use both hands even though you don need to stretch the second skin it’s a good habit to learn early on. Bigger needle requires a more 90’ degree angel, but that’s for 15 liners and up, smaller groupings don’t really need a top down angel but remember the entry point of the needle and the way you angel it, you want it in an angel so that the needle in the skin doesn’t go outside of the stencil (if it makes any sense, like if you’re pulling towards you, you want the tip of the needle to point towards you and not to the side, a bit hard to explain but if I find a video I’ll link it) And for coloring go in smaller circles so you pack the ink in good, but lower voltage for color packing and shading then lining. Use a liner to get in those little cracks in the design, it’s hard to pack black line to line with a curved mag. If you want a smoother shade black for detail you can make your own gray by watering down your black by adding steril water, 50/50 ink/water is a dark gray wash and 70/30 is a medium gray wash and so on. Depends on the quality of ink your using, kurosumi is a really good brand of ink And watch the old guys/girls on KZbin, “iron will” is a good series, it’s by grime. And the vice series, the “tattoo age”

I kind of wish I experimented more with the machine instead of jumping into tattooing designs. Knowing what different angles, different voltages, different movement speeds, different depths, etc. do is really helpful for when you actually start tattooing designs. Watching others helps a lot too! There are tons of great artists on KZbin to learn from.

Hi Hi ! It's so cool to have some info about your trip in Korea ! It looks like a beautiful to visit and it's so useful to know about Naver maps ! How about MRT, does koreans use something similar to the 悠遊卡 in Taiwan ? Btw European adapters and Korean adapters are basically the same, you just have to push harder sometimes lol. If you are planning to come to Europe don't forget your korean adapters or ask me if you are in Paris ! Since you can speak English, Chinese, some Japanese and Korean, you will surely be able to travel without problems in the future ! Keep going with vlogging ! ~
One addition to transportation: you should also mention the inter-city 客運

Good points, here's my thoughts. 1) The weather sucks but its easy to avoid inconvenience as long as you have the right economic resources. 2) Trash is easy, live in an apartment that can handle it for you. 3) Better quality room will be quieter in general. 4) Students spend a lot of time in school but thats more of a parent choice not anything to do with Taiwan as a whole (also many parts of Taiwan dont emphasize education as much). 5) Spot on about university technology and also their websites. Also, professors using case studies from 15 years ago instead of updating. 6) Sidewalks and walking isnt usually a big deal or happen often enough to be an annoyance. 7) Surprised by this comment about letting people get off, the bar can always be raised but both Americans and Chinese are horrendous in this regard. Taiwanese are actually very patient
