I'm starting a drum and bass project and this has been such a valuable writing tool. With this I'm my bi-amp rig it's incredible and I can perform solo with my bass without boring the entire room. 😅

Couldn't you get a lot of the same effects as the super sweet by just turning up the volume on your amp?

this video convinced me NOT to do this on my 2005 R7 that has subtle checking...its too all over the place candy cracking...doesnt look good like the ones with straight lines one way or the other. Also because the cracks are under the nitro and cant be felt the coffee thing does nothing.

I gotta say I really like aged guitar but imo they have to be done a certain way. Having a new-looking guitar and just checking the lacquer seems to me an half attempt. So I think it’s time to put on some reliced hardware and plastics too

These tremolos look so beautiful and work really well for a few days before starting bending due to the action of the strings gauge 10 I been through 3 replacements already and I am concluding that they aren't make well. The base is very thing to hold the string tension. I have a 335 too.

Hi Pete, not sure if this is the right place to ask a looper question (don’t do social media) but can a looper pedal go in an fx loop? Or is it better at the end of your pedal chain cheers Steve

Great vid, Pete! I've got one of these in my cart and am glad to see that you reviewed it before I spend $. I trust your ear and admire your playing. You took the time to slide all the pots and demo every feature. Much appreciated.

This really is a horrible sounding pedal. I can't understand how anyone can say it sounds good. Unless they are not familiar with the setups that it's trying to copy. The distortions are horrible and scratchy. Total rubbish, in my view.

Why do people even need to use a screwdriver and risk chewing the screws! Same goes for some locking tuners when people use a screw-driver to slacken the strings! It's crazy when you can use a heavy gauge pick, does the same job and you won't ruin your metal Also always replace the bridge with a roller type when using any of these types of tremolos. One reason is, you don't want the string "sawing" across the regular type saddles and two, make sure the new roller bridge has the little clamping mechanism too! (Otherwise the bridge will be moving back & forth when you move the tremolo and that's not ideal!) And if you really want to go the extra mile, fit a graphite nut and locking tuners too! But the roller bridge is a must and get one with the pole-grip mechanism (easily identified as these types have two small grub-screws that can be tightened against the posts at each end to stop it rocking back & forth) 👍

Do I need anything else...? I purchased one of these units after watching your video on the product. It has impeccable tones and options for an acoustic solo gig. But I would buy a new one if they cleared up these issues: the unit is presently dark and hard to see options in a stage setting; IT DOESN'T HAVE A HEADPHONE OUTPUT JACK (come one, really--no headphone jack!???) for practicing at home or in a hotel room; an on/off switch would also be nice. Like I said--the tones and options are great, but this unit is expensive. It would be nice if they would touch some things up for that price.

Im sure these are just super groovy pedals,but most all this guys toys are over $500.he obviously caters to nashville.L.a. and New york studio players.try making a toy for the rest of us.We know it costs maybe $75 to $90 to actually build one of these precious pedals.And then turn around and ask $500 to $600 a piece.Shameless scam.I DONT CARE HOW IT SOUNDS WHY LET PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU?

I would like to know if I can use a looper straight to my amp or do I need other gadgets to use with the looper
@NikkoAus
@NikkoAus Ай бұрын
Not an expert here but you should be able to use a looper between your guitar and the amp input, if you have any other pedals and want to capture the effects these should be in front of the looper. If you have an FX send return loop, you connect the looper input to the send jack so it gets the sound from the amp, then the output from the looper goes to the return FX jack in the amp. You just need extra cables.

This should not be done with the pickups and potentiometers in place. Too much moisture can be pushed into the pots/pups and corrosion can result.
