Love seeing more green to gold officers. My number one problem in my time in was the growing rate of young LTs fresh out of ROTC viewing themselves as superior in all forms because they went to college at 18 instead of enlisted. IDK what it is but ROTC cores have been training a growing rate of young toxic officers and it's slowing destroying unit cohesion across the branches. My hope is with more green to gold officer cadets who better understand the jobs and responsibilities of their enlisted staff, their time and experience will help bring the other officer cadets back to a more human level of understanding their units around them.

Rifle marksmanship is a basic skill in the military. Everyone knows that. But, civilians and urban sprawl make it hard to put up a 200 yard range anywhere... So they should be underground, physically... that way you could build them in the middle of town. And they should be a bring your own gun set up, to minimize problems. I went to one one time thst made you watch a training video before using it. Thats a good idea. The same one also only lets you shoot one shot per second Which isnt practical, in a self defense situation. You wanna be able to train in a lot of different positions, at a lot of different rates of fire, for a lot of different scenarios.

I trained cadets at warrior forge on leading a platoon attack. That was my lane and it was fun.

Easiest thing I’ve ever done, a famous statement by “Boots” MacDonald LOL I was part of the 1st Canadian team to win a medal doing the Cambrian Patrol. It’s harder then it looks, did you see the STRONACH TEAM observing you? The Brit’s use this as a EX for one of the SF surveillance teams.
